A sneaky athlete on Team Four at the Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp was Levi Merritt Levi Merritt 6'2" | PF/SF Maconaquah | 2029 IN . Merritt is a smaller yet hybrid forward who played a little bit on the perimeter and in the post for Team Four. He was a willing defender while also showing the ability to be a good slasher on the offensive end.

This 6’2″ wing/forward from Maconaquah High School had a strong showing at our Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase last fall. Now, we will get an updated evaluation of him at the Sophomore ID Camp. It is always a great opportunity to see how prospects have grown and matured over the course of a full year. He is a versatile offensive player that can present matchup problems for opposing defenses.

Merritt helped provide some much needed size on the perimeter for Team 1 at the Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase. The 6’2″ wing from Maconaquah High School has an impressive athletic build and held his own defensively while guarding multiple different positions. Offensively he was effective as a slasher and right hand driver while perhaps standing out the most by crashing the glass consistently and getting his team second chance opportunities. That effort and non-stop motor will always help him get the most out of his talent.

Maconaquah is lost one of the state’s top scorers to graduation and there obviously will be some big shoes to fill. Merritt, a 6’1″ hybrid wing/forward is a young prospect that projects to be an impact guy at some point for the Braves. We are anxious to see him in action for the first time at the Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase in September.
