Players who could prove a point at the Freshman Showcase

This gives us another opportunity to see them and put in their stamp against their class. The last time that we saw him, he was a glass cleaner who was using his length and gave this team plenty of second-chance opportunities. He moved well, competed, and didn't allow any easy baskets near the rim. He's a downhill inside performer who finishes well around the basket and is getting to open spots in the defense to finish, and we want to see if there is more added to his game. We certainly want to see more and before the high school season. He was a consistent contributor for 7070 Athletics at PH TuneUp CO as a playmaker who let the game come to him. He got to his spots and presented himself as a player who the game slows down for. He shot the 3-ball, got inside, made plays, and used screens while attacking to finish inside as well. We certainly want to see if his game translates, and he could dominate for another time with some of the top prospects in the class on the other end. That certainly stood out for us, and then he turned it on offensively as well as a guard who attacks off the dribble, is comfortable with the ball in his hands, and started to break defenders down and had blow-by finishes. In fact, he was one of the better prospects in 14U as he showed that he's a microwave scorer who can light it up from deep, his ability to space the floor opens up the rest of his game, and he's able to mix it up. We also saw him show that he could control the pace and take matchups personally. We'd love to see him get out and show that he's a name to follow moving forward. He used his speed, had transition baskets, and also had a few backdoor plays as well. He's a playmaker who finds teammates, and we want to see it against other top players in different classes. He'll certainly play a ton of varsity this year as well so this will be an opportunity to see himself against his class before we get into the season.
