Rosenburg was one of those young players who kept catching our eye throughout the summer, and now we’re ready to see what he brings to his freshman season. He plays with a great feel for the game, makes smart decisions with the ball and stays aggressive when opportunities open up. He’s quick, changes speeds well and can attack defenders off the bounce. What really raises the ceiling is his ability to score from anywhere on the floor. The flashes we saw this summer point to a freshman with serious upside, and if he continues building on those tools, Rosenburg could emerge as a name to know very quickly

Rosenburg came out and showed off his explosion and ability to blow by defenders trying to slow him down, and when he made up his mind to go, he went. He was quick in the open floor, created turnovers, and looked comfortable turning those takeaways into transition baskets and dishes on the other end. He also would break defenders down off the dribble in iso plays and created plays for himself and others. We want him to direct traffic more as he certainly excels with the ball in his hands, attack off the dribble, and take over ball-handling duties when he can.

We saw Rosenburg play at Colorado Live last month, and he was tasked with handling the ball, handling pressure, and he had to play both on and off ball there, which showcased the versatility. He used his speed, had transition baskets, and also had a few backdoor plays as well. He’s a playmaker who finds teammates, and we want to see it against other top players in different classes. He’ll certainly play a ton of varsity this year as well so this will be an opportunity to see himself against his class before we get into the season. We’d like to see him get out to the event.

Rosenburg continued to prove why he is one of the more intriguing forwards at Colorado Live with another impressive performance for Vanguard Classical East. His combination of length, athleticism and high basketball IQ allowed him to make an impact without forcing the action. He consistently found open space with smart cuts to the basket, finished efficiently around the rim and used his size to create second chance opportunities. Rosenburg embraced his role, played with a team first mentality and brought energy on both ends of the floor. His steady production and willingness to do the little things made him a valuable piece throughout the event
