EYBL Peach Jam was the final stage of the summer for these high-level nationwide prospects to perform under the bright lights and clinch a Peach Jam championship. College coaches packed the building for every contest to see which players were showing out and which hoopers should be on their radar. The 2027 class was a major highlight show to watch, especially when it came to combo guards who were making plays and scoring the ball with unparalleled ability. Let's dive deeper into some of these guards who caught my attention!    King Kendrick is a dual threat playmaker/scorer for Team CP3, and this is demonstrated by his versatility on the court. He can shoot from distance and finish at the basket with either hand and he has very underrated athleticism especially when attacking the paint. He creates turnovers with unparalleled lateral quickness, and his hand-eye coordination allows him to play passing lanes with pinpoint ability. His IQ at the point guard slot is a problem for defenses due to his dime-throwing ability and quick reflexes when isolating defenders either on the perimeter or in the paint. King currently has offers from Arizona State, Texas A&M, Ohio, Dayton, and Kent State.     The first game I evaluated NaVorro Bowman, he hit four insane half court off the dribble three pointers and my attention was immediately drawn to his shooting ability. He picks his spots carefully and isolates defenders that he knows he can take advantage of with his quick handles and high-level decision making. He also stays consistent at the foul line and knows how to draw contact, even attacking taller defenders in the paint. One of the most consistent shooters I watched at EYBL Peach Jam, Bowman is on track for his recruiting to skyrocket tremendously and from the looks of his offers, it already has. Some notable schools taking a high interest in Bowman include Texas, UCLA, USC, Arizona, California, and Illinois.     A precise sharpshooter from deep range, Jahari made a living beating opponents from the three point line at Peach Jam playing for Indy Heat. Miller has constant off ball movement and always finds gaps in the defense that will give him open looks and opportunities to the put the ball in the hoop. Miller can beat defenses from anywhere on the court and has good three level scoring ability. I was impressed with his tenacious perimeter defense as well hounding the opposing ballhandlers. His offers currently include Alabama, Ohio State, and Oklahoma State. Jamison controls the pace of the game and creates opportunities for his team while maintaining a good tempo and flow. His pull-up off the dribble is efficient from midrange and three point and he gets to the basket due to his quick first step and size up in triple threat situations. TJ currently has offers from Maryland, Iowa, LSU, USC, and Baylor and has visits scheduled to the latter three this upcoming fall.
