Class 6A All State Players – How did their 17u summer go?

How did those eight players (who are all 2027 talents) do this spring/summer? We let you know today!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>(We start with Class 6A and will move to other classes in the days ahead)</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2815486' first='Will' last='Davis'] of Blue Valley North. The 6'8 and long armed forward just got done winning a gold medal with The Netherlands in the FIBA 18u games and he gave his team a near double double (10/9) in the final contest. Had the great experience of playing with the team in Croatia in international competition. Davis played in the EYBL with Bradley Beal Elite and has earned scholarship opportunity from Tulsa, Kanas City, Oral Roberts and others. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2205710' first='Conor' last='Kerrigan'] of Shawnee Mission South. The other first team all state talent that returns (along with Davis) played with [program_tooltip program_id='2078454' first='KC' last='Run GMC'] and had a really good 17u year. After putting up 15.4 points and 8.6 rebounds a game as a junior, Kerrigan earned offers from Indiana State, Harding, Vermont, MSU-Denver, Kansas City, and Washburn. An excellent 17u year and Kerrigan now moves into the stage of visits (recently visited Oral Roberts). </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2205706' first='Avant' last='Riley'] of Derby. Second team all state 5'11 guard competed with PAC basketball this off-season and helped his team to another solid record in 17u play. Avant was just offered by Kansas Wesleyan University and Friends University in the past week. Really good shooter that can also handle the lead guard job and did it at the Pro 16 level. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2866725' first='Brendan' last='Walsh'] of Blue Valley. Walsh was also a second team all state player, the 6'2 guard averaged 17.5 points, four assists, 3.5 rebonds and two assists a game last year. Playing with PAC (and Riley), Walsh earned offers from Washburn, Texas A&amp;M Corpus Christi, Eastern Michigan, Lamar, and Northwest Missouri State this summer. Next up for Walsh is visits. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2692700' first='Cade' last='Alholm'] of Olathe East. A third team all state talent that gave his team 18 points and nine boards a game last season shooting 55 percent. Alholm is a 6'8 big with a huge wingspan and he is a multi-sport standout (excellent in the high jump). Another player that was with PAC at the Pro 16 level. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='3696446' first='Teke' last='Deng'] of Olathe North. Deng may have been third team all state last year in the winter but he might have earned himself 17u player of the year for Kansas playing with VWBA Elite this 17u spring/summer. Deng is now a nationally ranked big man that has offers from DePaul, Loyola Chicago, Kansas State, and UNLV and Deng has taken a visit to Kansas State. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2205722' first='Luke' last='Henderson'] of Wichita East. Numbers wise, few junior guards could match what Luke did last year at the big school level with his 20 points a game making over a third of his threes but also dishing out four assists and six boards a game. Had a really good year with [program_tooltip program_id='3474252' first='Team' last='One of Us']. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2205709' first='Colton' last='Nichols'] of Blue Valley North. A 6'4 wing that gave his team 17.7 points and 5.4 rebounds a game a season ago. Nichols also played with PAC basketball at the Pro 16 level. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
