Healthy and well deserving boost here for Colston, who jumps into the top-20 after he capitalized on a strong junior campaign with an impressive spring/early summer. Not only did he torch teams at EBA Pre-Live Warmup headlined by a 40-point explosion, but he also took home MVP honors for the Capitol Hoops Summer League after averaging 28PPG and 8.3RPG for Kennedy. He enters the 2026-27 season as the reigning Montgomery County POY and will be among the top public school prospects in the state of Maryland and he looks to guide the Cavaliers to a county title and beyond.

Drayton makes the jump into top-15 territory as he's been the focal point for DC Assault on the P32 Circuit. His combination of height, length and skill are at a premium in today's game as a five-man who can extend his shooting touch out to the perimeter to provide further floor spacing. When he reverts to a role of being a rim presence at both ends, he can really change the momentum of a game quickly. The focus moving forward for Drayton is compounding those spurts into routine occurrences so that every time he takes the floor, the opposition knows no shot around the bucket will come easy. As he proves himself on bigger stages, Drayton's recruitment should increase a significant deal.

Duncan makes the jump from No. 28 to No. 23 and it was due to his impact on winning while embracing his role as a versatile forward who can realistically defend four different positions at the high school level, leave his mark on the box score in a handful of categories and the progression of his overall skillset. His athleticism comes to light in the open floor by way of dunks, lobs or chase down blocks. His worth in the half court offensively comes from timely cuts, keeping possessions alive with offensive tip-outs or, as he showed in MDPSSBT play, converting crunch time three's when his team needs them most.

Issah has responded well after a 2025-26 high school season that was riddled with injury. Whether it has been his play with New World on the 3SSB Circuit or the events that Mt. Zion has participated in this summer, Issah's production is undeniable. He makes the most out of his touches on the block or mid-post where he can create angles with his back to the basket or in face-ups. He's shown to be a more consistent shot-maker off 1-to-2 dribbles in these scenarios, but especially as the roller in ball screens where he can impact out of short rolls or deep rolls to the rim with efficiency in both areas. His aggression and pride as as shot blocker defensively has become more routine along with his ability to close down the defensive glass.

Minor caught serious momentum in the month of June as he lit up the DMV Live stage to a tune of 17.4PPG on impressive shooting splits of 50 percent from the field, 41 percent from three and 81 percent from the free-throw line at Prince George's Christian Academy went 6-2 through the two sessions of play. The shifty lead guard is a handful for defenders and it starts with gravity he demands from beyond the arc, but it's his twitch and ability to stop on the dime from the mid-range and convert in bunches that make him such a tough check. Due to his recent surge, Minor finds himself in the top-30 at No. 27 from his previous spot at No. 40.

McKenzie rose 25 spots in the latest update from No. 53 to No. 28 for a few reasons. One being his MVP run for Takoma Academy as they captured the MDPSBBT Division B title. He was also named as an Adventist Hoops All-American for his junior season and he parlayed those honors with averaging an alarming 26.5PPG on 52 percent shooting from the field in his four games through DMV Live in June. The crafty, smooth southpaw bucket-getter earned his first Division I offer from Grambling State as a result of his June production and looking forward to July where he'll continue to lead [program_tooltip program_id='2528398' first='TTO' last='Showcase'], McKenzie's recruitment could just be getting started.

McCoy made a massive leap from No. 78 to No. 32 in the update thanks to his contributions for St. Frances in their Baltimore Catholic League title run. What started as a spotty role off the bench turned into McCoy being inserted into the starting lineup as a tough, two-way guard for head coach Nick Myles. As the spring began, McCoy got the nod and made the [program_tooltip program_id='2076999' first='Team' last='Melo'] EYBL roster and has taken advantage of his opportunities in that setting off the bench. All of this experience has him prepared to be a key cog to the Panthers' 2026-27 season and he showed that throughout his time at DMV Live, where his play resulted in earning his first Division I offer from Grambling State. He's a downhill slasher who can finish through contact, is a capable shooter with enough time and space and continues to develop his IQ as a play initiator.
