Summer Stock Risers: 2027 Point Guards

With the summer grassroots season nearly complete and most evaluations done until the fall, the recruiting landscape for the Class of 2027 is beginning to take shape. Several prospects elevated their stock with strong performances throughout the June and July live recruiting periods. Here is a look at a handful of point guards in the 2027 class who boosted their recruiting profile this summer.    The state's top uncommitted point guard in the 2027 class, Keith led AE5 in July on the adidas 3SSB circuit with 21.7 points per game. The Tri-Cities rising senior is a skilled, scoring guard who knows how to play. He has above average quickness and athleticism and changes speeds well with the ball in his hands. He is a shot maker from beyond the arc and plays with toughness. Keith has fall visits planned to Clemson and Boston College and recently picked up offers from UAB and Saint Louis.     Taylor had double digit scoring games for UPlay Canada on the first two days of Nike's Peach Jam showing why he is one of the state's top lead guard. The rising senior is a quick perimeter prospect who can get downhill and finish in the paint. He is a reliable shot maker from three and has a high basketball IQ. Expect his recruitment to continue to rise in the coming months.     Hall had an impressive June with Darlington, the defending state champions, and made a move to 4:44 Athletics on the Puma Pro 16 circuit for the month of July. He is a scoring guard with strength, skill and a high basketball IQ. Hall is capable be being a three level scorer who can create offense off the dribble and knows how to use ball screens. In addition to his scoring ability, Hall is a capable and willing passer who can find open teammates.     Cannon starred for the Atlanta All Stars on the Under Armour circuit this month. He averaged over 12 points per game and shot the ball very well from beyond the arc. The rising senior has above average quickness, changes speeds well and is very good with the ball in his hands. He can create his own offense off the dribble and is a creative finisher in the paint. College coaches searching for a dynmaic, scoring guard should investigate.     Graves continued his torrid summer averaging over 23 points and nearly 4 assists per game for the [program_tooltip program_id='2078446' first='Georgia' last='Stars'] at Nike's PIT. The McEachern product is a strong bodied, lefty lead guard with a high basketball IQ. He is capable of being both a scorer and a distributor and reported an offer from Rider this month from the newly rebranded Metro Conference.
