Expert Analysis
Eric Wallace | Prep Hoops Scout
Taylor is a quick, shifty, scoring lead guard out of Canada who consistently puts pressure on opposing defenses. He gets downhill with ease, is tough for defenders to stay in front of, and finishes effectively in the paint. A reliable three-point shot maker, he can stretch the floor while also creating his own offense. Taylor plays with a strong feel for the game, making him a dynamic backcourt prospect.

Taylor turned in one of his best performances of the season Monday, scoring 27 points in a 73–53 win over Kell. The junior is extremely difficult to keep out of the lane, where he is a creative and efficient finisher in the paint, highlighted by a reliable floater game. He also knocked down shots from beyond the arc, consistently drew contact, and earned trips to the free-throw line. With his continued development and offensive versatility, expect Taylor to be a clear stock riser over the next 12 months.

Earned a large role in the Greenforest backcourt. Balanced when to score with when to facilitate. Quality three-point shooter with a good handle against pressure.
