Summer Stock Risers: 2027 Combo Guards

With the summer grassroots season nearly complete and most evaluations done until the fall, the recruiting landscape for the Class of 2027 is beginning to take shape. Several prospects elevated their stock with strong performances throughout the June and July live recruiting periods. Here is a look at a handful of combo guards in the 2027 class who did the most to boost their recruiting profile this summer.    One of the top scorer's in the class, Hunter aveaged 18.5 points per game during July for Team Loaded on the adidas 3SSB circuit. He is an effective scorer both on and off the ball. A reliable shot maker off the bounce and on the catch, with the ability to create his own offense, Hunter continues to improve as a ball handler. An above average athlete who can finish in the paint, Hunter us certainly a prosepct that continues to trend up.     A high academic prospect, Brown was impressive during June with STAB. The rising senior is an athletic, scoring, ball handling guard with quickness. He has a good feel for the game, is an improving shot maker and knows how to use screens both with and without the ball in his hands. Not just an asset on the offensive end, Brown can match up with an opponent's top perimeter player.     Another guard who impressed during June, Mack is a strong, very athletic guard who picked up some Division 1 offers this summer. He can play with or without the ball in his hands, is aggressive at the offensive end and has a good feel for the game.     Jarrett was excellent at DC Live in June and contnued that momentum with Team Push on the Made Hoops Circuit in July. The rising senior is a three level scorer who is a reliable shot maker from beyond the arc. He has good length and above average athleticism and is also capable of being a secondary ball hander. Expect a big senior season from Jarrett for a talented Woodside program.     This combo guard had two impressive games in June at DMV Live and showed his ability to be a shot maker and scorer against high level competition. To go along with his scoring ability, Smith has has good length and above average athleticism and the ability to be a secondary ball hander and decision maker at the offensive end.
