The senior is a high scoring guard who can put points on the board at all three levels. He plays with confidence and an aggressive mindset, creating his own offense off the dribble and consistently putting pressure on opposing defenses. He is also effective pushing the pace in transition, where he can create scoring opportunities in the open floor. Defensively, he has the ability to be disruptive and create problems for opposing guards.

Jarrett had a great showing for The Way this weekend, putting up big numbers in both game including a 35 point outing which was highly impressive in itself, but the way he did it was even more impressive. He shot the cover off the ball from deep showing a quick release and deep range, he showed his ability to get to spots in the midrange and elevate to hit tough shots, he did a good job drawing contact and got to the line often, and when he got it going he was able to hit really tough shots against very good defense.

Jarrett was excellent at DC Live in June and contnued that momentum with Team Push on the Made Hoops Circuit in July. The rising senior is a three level scorer who is a reliable shot maker from beyond the arc. He has good length and above average athleticism and is also capable of being a secondary ball hander. Expect a big senior season from Jarrett for a talented Woodside program.

Team Push got a big win in the game I caught and Jarrett Jr was dominating as a scorer.Jarrett Jr was getting to the rim whenever he wanted and I was extremely impressed with his finishing with his left hand. Playing with a lot of confidence and swagger, Jarrett Jr got into a scoring rhythm and never got out of it for the entire game. Looking like an under the radar guard, I recommended Division I and II programs to check Jarrett Jr out after that eye catching performance.

Jarrett Jr. is a solid shooting and scoring wing who brings an appealing blend of length, athleticism, and versatility to the perimeter. A reliable shot maker, he can stretch the floor from beyond the arc and consistently score within the flow of the offense. His above average athleticism allows him to finish effectively in transition and attack closeouts when defenders overplay his jumper. Jarrett Jr. also provides value as a secondary ball handler, capable of initiating offense, making plays off the dribble, and creating opportunities for teammates. With the ability to play either guard position, he offers lineup flexibility and can impact the game in a variety of roles.

Donnell “Deuce” Jarrett Jr. continues to establish himself as one of the top guards in the 757 regardless of class. What makes him so dangerous is his versatility offensively. He can hurt defenses from beyond the arc, create off the bounce, change speeds effectively, and make plays for teammates when defenses collapse.

This spring, he has stood out as more than just a scorer. His ability to move without the basketball and remain a constant threat has taken another step forward. Pairing him alongside another high-level guard like MJ Montague creates matchup nightmares for opposing defenses. There simply are not many backcourts in Virginia capable of containing both guards for four quarters.

Jarrett has also noticeably added strength and muscle since last season, which has helped him finish through contact and handle physical defenders more effectively. Playing with Team Push MHC 17U, he has emerged as one of the group’s leading scorers all spring long while continuing to elevate his overall game.

Expect him to be one of the premier guards in the state next season.

Jarrett earned Second Team All-Region honors this season at Woodside after a strong junior campaign. He is a solid shooting, scoring guard with good length and above-average athleticism, allowing him to be effective both on and off the ball. Most impactful as a secondary ball handler, Jarrett plays well within the flow of the offense, attacking closeouts, making sound decisions, and capitalizing on scoring opportunities.

He scored 13 points on Saturday, continuing to show his value as a high-scoring perimeter option. The very quick guard combines solid shooting with the length and above-average athleticism to impact the game on the wing. He can create offense for himself and has the ability to serve as a secondary ball handler when needed. His blend of speed, scoring ability, and versatility makes him a tough matchup on the perimeter.

Jarrett is a skilled shooting wing who is putting together an impressive junior season for the Wolverines. He brings good length, above-average athleticism, and consistent scoring ability on the perimeter. He also shows the capability to function as a secondary ball handler, adding versatility and value to his overall offensive profile.

Given the way Jarrett set the tone for this team, it’s difficult to say anything other than positives about Donnell. He’s a strong, well-rounded guard with a nice combination of size, skill, shot making ability and athleticism. Jarrett is a reliable creator, both for himself and others, with the ability to command an offense as a focal point. He scored at an efficient, yet seemingly nonstop rate from all levels and in transition. Finish at the rim over BIGS in a variety of packaging layups. Also, a solid rebounder and quick handed defender.
