June is such an important month for high school basketball. For many players and teams it's the only time of year they get the ability to matchup against opposing teams with college coaches in attendance. Prospects relish the opportunity to compete in hopes of gaining college attention or media attention to elevate their status. But for some prospects, their attention could be under the radar due to multiple reasons and that's where this list comes in.

These are the players I saw in June that are either flying under the radar of college programs, the media, or both.

[player_tooltip player_id='2574803' first='Joshua' last='Blevins'] - Mountain Pointe

One of the biggest transfers of the offseason was the move of Blevins from Skyline Prep to Mountain Pointe. The Pride by all accounts were already a top eight team in the state and appeared as the team to beat in the 5A conference, but Blevins helps to take Mountain Pointe to another level. With his addition, the Pride now boast a stellar frontcourt with him and [player_tooltip player_id='1956218' first='Marcus' last='Isaac'] that almost no team in the AIA can matchup with size wise.

He's a spacing big that shows the ability to step out on the perimeter and knock down both catch-and-shoot threes but also can create shots from range off the dribble. He'll spend a lot of time in the dunker spot and isn't afraid to slam it home versus defenders. His impact will be most felt defensively as he is a disrupter in the paint swatting away shots and forcing errant passes from those who try to drive inside.

[player_tooltip player_id='2754862' first='Anthony' last='Stokes'] - Canyon View

For a Canyon View program going through a stage of transition, one of the consistent players in the program is due for a strong senior campaign for the Jaguars. Over the last few years, Canyon View has become a yearly 5A contender but now the Jaguars are jumping up to 6A and have a new coach in Cory Duke leading the way as well. Stokes is a winning player with his ability to impact the game on both ends of the court.

He is active on the defensive end of the court as he shows the speed and ability to stay in front of crafty guards and he uses active hands to strip the ball or jump into passing lanes. He attacks in transition and finishes strong off of the same turnovers he creates. With his ability to lockdown opposing players and get downhill and attack, he brings the perfect balance on both ends of the court for a Canyon View team that looks to have a strong season in 6A.

[player_tooltip player_id='2746700' first='Carter' last='Glass'] - O'Connor

For the first time in a few seasons, there's a lot of question marks around O'Connor and what team they could be this year. The Eagles do boast a division one prospect in [player_tooltip player_id='2432574' first='Terrance' last='Byrd'] but after graduating a large senior class, there's questions as to who'll step up alongside him. In June, [player_tooltip player_id='2746700' first='Carter' last='Glass'] looks to be one of the players who is stepping into a new, larger role for the Eagles.

Glass is one of the best shooters in the state who has unlimited range and can knock down a shot from deep with a quick release. He makes lazy defenses and defenders pay as he moves off screens and is constantly working to get open and create space. With his spacing ability paired alongside Byrd's ability to attack the rim, defenses will have to pick their poison.

[player_tooltip player_id='3672710' first='Terrence' last='Richardson'] - San Tan Charter

As a move-in from Chicago, Richardson in limited minutes showed his impact immediately and why he'll play a big role in San Tan Charter's quest to repeat as copper division champions. He's a long forward that's still growing and filling into his frame. With that length and defensive IQ, he instantly is one of the best shot blockers in the AIA.

He controls the paint defensively and shows the athleticism colleges want as he can jump multiple times in quick succession attempting to pull in rebounds. Offensively, he shows the ability to space the floor but his ability to crash the offensive glass and create multiple opportunities for his teammates is a key trait. Richardson is also a gifted passer for the position and is already one of the best passing forwards in the AIA.

[player_tooltip player_id='2574815' first='Garrison' last='Bambolo'] - Willow Canyon

A switch has flipped for Bambolo from the end of last season to this Summer. There's a level of aggression with his game that has helped him take a nice jump entering his senior year. He's become more physical inside the post on the offensive end fighting through contact and using his size for offensive rebound opportunities, something he's been needing to add to his game.

His three point shot has become more consistent and with that, defenses have overcommitted on that end guarding him. He's started to make them pay by pump faking and driving inside and throwing down hard dunks with force. His impact on both ends of the court have become greater and he looks ready for a strong senior year.

[player_tooltip player_id='2136339' first='Adryan' last='Miller'] - Gilbert

Similar to Richardson at San Tan Charter, Gilbert also gained a power forward from the midwest as [player_tooltip player_id='2136339' first='Adryan' last='Miller'] comes over from Minnesota and already has impacted the Tigers program with his size and ability in the post. During Section 7, Miller showed his ability to utilize his size and soft hands as he fought through contact and multiple defenders being thrown at him to finish down low and crash the glass.

His footwork inside the post is sneaky good as he is always moving and finding ways to create space. Using that skill, Miller also was able to kick out multiple passes from the post and created chances for his teammates on the perimeter or found them cutting. Miller is a winning player who does all the little things to help his team.
