John Millyard | Prep Hoops Scout
Hands down the best pure shooter at the event. Glass went 5/5 from beyond the arc in the first matchup I watched and stayed red hot the rest of the camp. He showed off his range again in the top 20 game knocking down another four. Quick trigger and a smooth shot. Has a strong feel for the game and plays with an incredible motor. Will be one of the top recruited shooting guards in the state.

Arguably the best shooter at the showcase. In the three games I watched him, he went 12 of 14 from beyond the arc, posting an unreal 85.7% three point percentage. He has a quick release, making it difficult for defenders to get a tipped ball on a spot up shot. He is capable of scoring on threes off the dribble too. Good ball-handling prowess, catching opponents off guard and driving in from the three-point line for easy layups.

A gifted three-point shooter who may be the best catch-and-shoot threat in the AIA. His quick release, shot preparation, and natural shooting instincts allow him to capitalize on even the smallest window of space. There is no hesitation when the ball reaches his hands, making him an extremely difficult cover anywhere beyond the arc.

Glass is a shifty and crafty guard that can light it up from beyond the arc, scores in volume to put up big numbers quickly, and is one of the best distance shooters in the West. Glass put on an impressive display of shooting from the perimeter his at the Cali Live event, with a total of 26 threes over the four games, a single game high of 11 three points and 37 points in a win over Torrey Pines, as well as connecting on 8 threes in a win over Clovis that I was in-person to see, making a strong case for the top 3-point shooter this side of the Mississippi, and definitely the top distance shooter at this year’s Cali Live. Glass has great off ball movement, runs off screens, keeps moving to force his defender to chase him all over the court, squares his body and shoulders up, and gets to his shot spots for open looks off the catch from the 3-point line that he connects on at a high clip, uses the pump-fake and hesitation to get by his defender on over-pursuits on the perimeter, has touch on the floater, and has the court vision to make reads to open teammates off the drive and kick pass or to the diver out of the pick and roll action.
