NEPSAC Showcase Standouts: Two-Way Wings

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Today, we'll continue our <em>NEPSAC Showcase Standouts</em> series with a look at the most impressive <em>Two-Way Wings</em> that we saw in Worcester.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>These prospects left their mark on both ends of the floor with their ability to score it in a variety of ways, make plays with the ball in their hands, and take on tough assignments on the defensive end of the floor.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Here are five <em>Two-Way Wings</em> that stood out at the <em>NEPSAC Showcase</em>:</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["2857842"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-6a541294a77e4"} --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">Camacho, a rising senior at the <em>Brunswick School</em> in Connecticut, did a little bit of everything for his squad over the weekend. The 6'3" guard is a talented defender that can guard any of the three perimeter spots, while also showing the ability to plug passing lanes by anticipating plays before they develop. He's a tough cover in the open floor, particularly when he gets downhill with the ball in his hands, due to his combination of size, length, athleticism, and strength. He can play on or off the ball, makes timely cuts to the rim, and has the ability to consistently knock down shots from behind the arc. The 6'8" wing has terrific positional size and length, but of which allow him to play bigger than his lean frame would indicate. He's agile, a fluid athlete, and can really shoot the basketball from behind the arc. He continues to develop his ability to make plays off the bounce and finishes well at the rim. Defensively, his length plays in passing lanes and with quick hands, he's able to generate plenty of steals and deflections as an on-ball defender. The 6'4" guard checks a lot of boxes with his explosive athleticism, non-stop motor, and winning mentality. Defensively, he's seemingly always around the basketball, creates steals and deflections at a high clip, and does a nice job of rebounding from the guard spot. Offensively, he's a tough slasher that has really shown the ability to knock down shots from behind the arc, but in catch and shoot situations and off the bounce. At 6'3" with a stocky frame, Earle has good positional size and does a nice job of playing to his strengths on both ends of the floor. He's physically strong, and tough, and is capable of playing through contact on the offensive end. He's a plus shooter from behind the arc, can get downhill off the bounce, and does a nice job of finishing with power at the rim. Defensively, he can guard any perimeter spot and is capable of rebounding in and out of traffic. A bouncy athlete, Liautaud has the ability to get to the rim off the bounce and also to make threes in catch and shoot situations. He has a quick first step and does a nice job of attacking closeouts off the bounce. On the other end of the floor, his length is an asset and he plays with above average foot speed and mobility, allowing him to stay in front of smaller guards on the perimeter.
