Braylin was often the top scorer and the top playmaker as well. We saw Johnson go at the rim regularly for points on or off the ball, and then he did the same thing this weekend down in Kansas City scoring in double figures three times with a 19 point per game high. His aggression moving in the paint and his love for throwing the ball through the rim are inspiring to watch for others around him. What is really fun to add to what Jaylen does physically is the mid-range touch looks really good. The one dribble into the lift is something that opened the eyes after seeing the physical play. A shoulder from Drew into the opposing post defender (most teams didn't have a strong guy to deal with Bartell) completely froze the defender allowing Bartell to stay balanced using great footwork to touch in shots. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">Drew is the kind of guy that opposing defenders are completely petrified of being switched on to, and he makes them pay. When I was able to look on, Drew was performing in a double-double way dominating the glass and really, dominating a lot of post up battles and help defensive contests in a regular way. I thought Drew finished consistently, rebounded a ton, and did a great job with his low post defensive work. Games of 22, 15, and 14 that we saw, the shot continues to be there in efficient ways plus Adrian can score around the basket with his frame. The Missouri Flight 2027 led his team to three wins with FOUR double-doubles. That's right.... games of 15 and 17, 13 and 15, 23 and 14, and 11 and 16! A 14 point and nearly 14 rebounds per game average! And if that wasn't enough, he had 22 assists and 16 steals in those five games.
