Illinois Tune-Up: Teddy’s 2029 Evaluations

He aged up two levels on the 17U ICE team this week. Personally, I love this ability to fly into the paint for rebounds and push the pace in transition. He also flashes tons of promise as a passer and moves well off the ball. I love his ability as an on-ball defender keep his opponent in front. Caps that off with some solid shooting abilities on the perimeter. I'm a big fan of his ability to get up and down the floor and play with speed. The kind of guard that makes plays you don't expect. He capped that off with tremendous rebounding on both ends which included several put-back finishes. Even saw him make plays as a passer in this contest. Showcased a smooth touch around the rim and set screens at a high clip against H2H. Even showing he can make plays as a passer when needed both in the low block and on the perimeter. Showcased an explosive first step to the rim with some bounce Saturday morning vs Ball Elote. I love the strides he makes to the rim which gets him to the bucket in a much easier way.
