Illinois Tune-Up: Teddy’s 2027 Shooting Guards

Sharpshooting was super effective in the Thursday afternoon matchup here against [program_tooltip program_id='2078374' first='Full' last='Package'] where he showcased a quick C&amp;S release to bury multiple triples. Showing he can get it done in difference spaces on the floor, too. Later one, he showed he can. I love the explosive bounce and the strides he makes attacking the hoop which makes difficult conversion inside look significantly easier. A vocal leader with good communication skills and hustle on the other end of the floor. Used that very well Thursday against ball elite to defend at a high clip. Later in this matchup, he became super aggressive with the ball and found his way to the rim for multiple difficult finishes. Showing he can score with both hands. Throughout his matchup Friday morning, Ervin looked for ways to score off the dribble and convert on difficult scoring chances. That includes five three pointers in the second half which erased a near 20-point deficit. A put-back finish made it a 2-point game at one point.
