Shot with a ton of confidence to keep BE back in the game against ICE. That includes five three pointers in the second half which erased a near 20-point deficit. A put-back finish made it a 2-point game at one point. Outside of that, his dribbling looked really good as he found his way to create buckets off the dribble.
Grant did a good job defending on-ball in his opening contest. Forcing tons of misses from outside the arc. And that wasn’t the case for him offensively as he buried a few long range jumpers. I also saw plenty of explosiveness from Grant with the ball.
Despite his size, Grant is a solid contributor on the boards. He not only secures rebounds but also has the ability to take the ball coast to coast. On his drives to the rim, he effectively uses his body to shield defenders, demonstrating a smart approach. Grant proved at the event that size is no obstacle on the court, catching the attention of many scouts.
