Adidas 3SSB Notebook: 2027s Bring Big Moments

As we continue to recap what was an incredible week of basketball down in Rock Hill, South Carolina for the Adidas 3SSB Palmetto Road Championships we're going to take a look at the members of this 2027 class and what they were able to do in their last session of their careers on the 3SSB Circuit. It's been a special group to watch and without further delay, let's take a look at the 2027 standouts!    Conti continues to provide this [program_tooltip program_id='2078500' first='Garner' last='Road'] team with a key floor spacing option in their front-court along with possessing the ability to contribute in other areas, especially on the glass. Conti and [program_tooltip program_id='2078500' first='Garner' last='Road'] 17u had a really strong weekend and he was able to connect on a massive game winner in what was an instant classic in their win over Austin Rivers Southeast Elite. Conti continues to improve his physique which is allowing him to be more mobile on the defensive end of the floor and just possess a higher activity level in his minutes. He's poised for a big senior year at Millbrook and should continue to gain more traction in recruiting as his next level appeal is obvious.     Allen jumped back in the mix with Game Elite 17u for the month of July and was flat out vital in the success they had as his blend of scoring and toughness gave them a necessary element in their lineup. Allen is a super physical driver where he's able to overpower smaller guards on his drives and finish in traffic at a high rate. He's a streaky outside shooter and was able to get hot multiple times throughout the course of the weekend. Allen is also a super strong rebounder for his position and it reflected with his July averages of 14.4 Points, 5.5 Rebounds, 0.7 Assists, 1.1 Steals all on 49/36/86 splits. He holds an offer from Queens and I expect that list to grow soon.     Page will end his run as the wire to wire number one 2027 here in North Carolina as he just announced his transfer to IMG and will now be ranked ahead in Florida. That was the only way that was going to happen because this kid continues to deliver at an elite level regardless of setting and/or role. He was brilliant in Rock Hill and the month of July as a whole with multiple signature performances for this [program_tooltip program_id='2078500' first='Garner' last='Road'] 17u team. Page had one of the best all around performances we've seen all summer long in [program_tooltip program_id='2078500' first='Garner' last='Road']'s win over Austin Rivers Southeast Elite as he poured in 22 Points, 9 Rebounds, and 5 Assists as his team edged out fellow five star RJ Evans. Page also embraced that matchup on the defensive end of the floor making for an instant classic.     Twitty continued to do his job at a high level for this [program_tooltip program_id='2227286' first='Team' last='Loaded South'] 17u team as he was a constant presence on the interior battling for rebounds and buckets in the paint. This group did struggle to secure wins but Twitty had no trouble securing rebounds as you won't find many kids that embrace their job quite like him. Twitty also provides a solid presence as a rim protector and truly uses his frame to carve out space on the inside to make life easier on his teammates. Twitty will undoubtedly get recruitment off of his efforts on the glass along with his contributions in other areas.     [program_tooltip program_id='2078500' first='Garner' last='Road'] made a big addition of former NC prospect with Markus Kerr jumping into the mix with them in Rock Hill and that led to some shifts in role and Jefferson found a way to look incredible individually while being instrumental in [program_tooltip program_id='2078500' first='Garner' last='Road']'s 3-1 weekend. Jefferson made timely shots, contributed on the glass, and operated as a secondary playmaker when they needed him to. Jefferson's size at the position along with his efficiency make him a straightforward prospect that should start to pick up more recruitment as his senior year is about to begin at Knightdale.
