The 2028 class saw a big change on Monday as Union Catholic guard Malik Moore transferred to Iowa United Prep. The group still has talent that can make an impact during the season, especially in Union County. Here are the 2028 Union County prospects to watch after Malik Moore's transfer.

[player_tooltip player_id='2504745' first='Chase' last='Bray'], 5'11 [player_tooltip player_id='3665515' first='PG' last=''] Roselle Catholic

Bray is the top prospect in Union County in the class and should show why during the course of the season. The 5'11 guard plays with composure on the ball as he gets to his spot on the floor and threads passes to his open teammates in the half court. Bray has a nice touch in the mid-range and makes opponents pay for giving him space behind the arc. He can also play off the ball and slides his feet on the defensive end. Bray is a true floor general who should run the offensive effectively throughout the course of the season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2683638' first='RJ' last='Wicks'], 6'6 SF Union Catholic

Wicks has had a big summer, which should carry over into the winter. The 6'6 wing has a good first step, which he uses to get to the rim and can finish strong above the rim. Wicks uses his size to see over his defender and rises up nicely on his jumper. He has the length to defend multiple positions on the floor and is a solid rebounder. Wicks is a lanky wing prospect who should impact the game at both ends of the floor throughout the course of the season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2631499' first='Julian' last='Hall'], 5'11 CG Elizabeth

Hall is one of the grittiest guards in the county and will put that on display during the season. The 5'11 guard has a tight handle, which he uses to blow by his defender and finishes in a variety of ways around the rim. Hall has a good touch in the mid-range and can also play off the ball. He pushes the pace well in transition and is a tough on-ball defender. Hall is a tough guard prospect whose ability to make plays with the ball in his hands will help his development throughout the course of the season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2919940' first='Jared' last='Jennings'], 5'11 [player_tooltip player_id='3665515' first='PG' last='']/CG Union Catholic

Jennings transferred into Union Catholic this offseason and is looking to make an immediate impact in the backcourt. The 5'11 guard has a quick first step, which he uses to get into the paint off the bounce and knows how to finish around the rim. Jennings has a nice release on his jumper and can also play off the ball. He is an underrated passer and gets deflections on the defensive end. Jennings had some big games down the stretch of the season and should carry over that success into his junior campaign.

[player_tooltip player_id='2194748' first='Bryce' last='Scott'], 6'1 SG/CG Union Catholic

Scott has the ability to breakout as he should have the ball in his hands more. The 6'1 guard sets his feet before he shoots and rarely forces jumpers in the half court. Scott is more than just a shooter as he can also get to the rim off the bounce and moves well without the ball in his hands. He has the length to defend both backcourt spots and is an underrated passer. Scott should get more touches in the half court, which will help his game in a big way over the course of the winter.
