The transfer portal never closes at the high school level. There has been an exorbitant amount of movement this spring and summer and we likely have not seen the end of it. Here's a look at some of the most impactful transfers in the 2028 Class. Listed in no particular order.

Terry has been at GRC for a couple of months now so it's easy to forget that he was at their arch rival just 3 months ago. Holding multiple D1 offers, I believe Andrew is the highest ranked transfer in the state, at this point. The state champs have had an up and down summer while trying to integrate Terry into the offense but they'll be hard to beat when December gets here.

Another transfer who has been at his new school for a little bit. Grayson goes with his dad to Corbin after Coach Burton accepted the head coaching job in April. Burton has had a huge AAU spring so far and continues to add D1 offers as his career progresses. He could be the best player in the 13th region this season.

McNear is a definite X Factor for the Warhawks in their pursuit of a 4th straight regional title. Bray adds rim protection and rebounding to the Great Crossing roster that was previously mostly [player_tooltip player_id='2454749' first='Brady' last='Orem'] and several shooters. With the ability to back up or play alongside Orem, Bray could be a breakout player this season in the 11th region.

Freeman is a very impressive prospect who may be starting to figure it all out. Micah has legitimate size and high level athleticism. Dangerous around the rim and especially in transition, Freeman is an explosive dunker who is a consistent jump shot away from being a D1 prospect, in my opinion.

Curry-Hill makes the move from Male to Butler for his Junior season and should have the opportunity to play with the ball in his hands more. Nicholas has good size at the PG spot and plays with the ability to change speeds. Probably behind right now due to lack of playing time at Male the last two years, Curry-Hill could be a true breakout player in the 6th region.
