[player_tooltip player_id='2895483' first='Ean' last='Britt'] joins the Coronado Cougars and I liked what I saw from him in his debut. His length catches your attention immediately, as does his athleticism. He is the type of prospect who only needs a little bit separation to get his shot off, and he can shoot right over defenders once he's in the paint. One of his top highlights was an impressive alley oop that he caught right above the rim before throwing it down. In addition to his scoring, his speed and wingspan should help him cause turnovers for Coronado. If you're a college coach, keep an eye out for him at Section 7 next week.

[player_tooltip player_id='2280428' first='Jaylan' last='Virgil'] is officially suiting up for Coronado after making the move from Torrey Pines. He put his handles and quickness on full display, skirting around defenders to get to the rack. The attention he drew, also opened the door for his teammates. And he dished out some quality last second assists over the course of the game. With his speed and scoring instincts, he should be a valuable asset for the Cougars going forward.

Ja'Cory Boyce got downhill with ease yesterday. He was patient with the rock, and waited for his opponent to take a false step. From there he drove to hoop with a purpose, and utilized a number of crafty maneuvers to dodge defenders. He also did a solid job of locating the cup once it was time to go up with it. On the defensive end, he bothered his matchup with his lateral quickness and energy.

[player_tooltip player_id='2086139' first='Tyler' last='Johnson'] was a bit too much for the Pirates to contain yesterday. He used his explosive first and second steps to get right by his defender. And found himself underneath the basket in the blink of an eye. While his opponents did their best, they still had to resort to fouling him to slow him down. Beyond his attacking, he also dropped in a pair of 3-pointers for the Gaels.

[player_tooltip player_id='2240785' first='Kenny' last='Williams'] did it all for Basic yesterday morning. He was draining shots from downtown, and had at least 3/4 triples going into halftime. Then in the second half, he turned into more of a facilitator. Dropping off dimes to his forwards on the block. While also adding a few nice layups. Although the Wolves didn't get the win, his production and play on offense was fun to watch.

It's been a minute since I've seen [player_tooltip player_id='2767004' first='David' last='Quesada'] play, and he performed quite well in Cimarron's game against DO. He started off knocking down shots from the perimeter, forcing defenders to play him tightly. Later he started utilizing his agility and change of direction skills to get in the lane. Quesada got to the free throw line a bit as well, and he was flying around on the defensive end. He'll be a potential stock riser in the next 2028 rankings update.
