Another round of recruiting updates is here, as the summer continues to be a crucial evaluation period for college programs looking to identify talent across the region. Coaches have been busy on the road, and the recruiting activity has followed, with multiple area prospects picking up new offers while another has made his college decision.

In this update, I'll take a look at some of the latest recruiting developments from around the region, breaking down what each offer or commitment means and why these players continue to generate interest at the next level. From rising stock to important recruiting milestones, here's what you need to know regarding the latest movement on the recruiting trail.

[player_tooltip player_id='2534722' first='Keller' last='Daugherty'] | 6'9" Forward | Lee's Summit

Daugherty's rise continues. One of the most coveted prospects in the region, he has now shut down his recruitment and committed to Iowa, where he'll continue his career with the Hawkeyes at the next level.

Daugherty has put together a strong spring and continues to generate significant attention because of his positionless skill set and versatile style of play. His ability to impact games makes him a unique prospect, and he projects well as a stretch forward at the next level. With his combination of size, skill, and versatility, he should create difficult matchup problems on both ends of the floor while providing value that shows up in more than just the box score.

[player_tooltip player_id='2344218' first='Nolan' last='Struckmann'] | 6'7" Forward | St. Dominic

Struckmann finally appears to be reaping the rewards of his recent strong play on the court, picking up an offer from South Dakota Mines, a Division II program looking to continue building momentum in the coming years.

There's little doubt that Struckmann's ability to score the basketball and stretch the floor offensively made him an attractive target for the Hardrockers. His combination of shooting, offensive versatility, and production has continued to stand out, and this offer could very well be the first of several that come Nolan's way throughout the summer. If he continues to perform at a high level, expect more programs to get involved as the evaluation period moves forward.

[player_tooltip player_id='2205710' first='Conor' last='Kerrigan'] | 6'6" Forward | Shawnee Mission South

It's taken some time, but Kerrigan is beginning to see his hard work pay off. After picking up an offer from Washburn earlier this spring, he has now added another from Oral Roberts, giving the rugged Kansas forward two notable opportunities at the next level.

Kerrigan brings a lot to the table and has long been the type of player willing to do whatever it takes to help his team win. His versatility is one of his biggest strengths, as he can be moved all over the floor offensively and consistently finds ways to impact the game. Whether he has the ball in his hands or is working without it, he does an excellent job creating and finding openings while making the right play. Combined with his toughness, motor, and willingness to embrace any role, it's easy to see why programs continue to show interest. Expect Kerrigan to remain a name worth monitoring as the summer progresses.

Quinton Rolle, Jr. | 6'6" Wing | Life Prep

Rolle, a member of the 2026 class, had several opportunities to continue his playing career at the next level and ultimately chose Kansas City Kansas Community College as his destination.

Projecting as a stretch forward at the collegiate level, Rolle brings a valuable combination of perimeter shooting and the ability to finish around the basket. His offensive versatility allows him to impact the game both inside and out, making him an intriguing piece moving forward. If he can continue to add strength and fill out his frame, he could position himself to compete for rotational minutes early in his college career. With his skill set and ability to space the floor, Rolle has the tools to make an impact as he transitions to the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='2346715' first='Brock' last='Long'] | 6'3" Guard | Vianney

Add [player_tooltip player_id='2346715' first='Brock' last='Long'] to the growing list of guards out of the St. Louis metro area who are playing some of their best basketball of the spring and summer. Long picked up another offer earlier this month from Maryville, giving him his second offer in a matter of weeks and further validating the progress he's made on the court.

Long's positional size and ability to create his own offense have consistently stood out as of late. He's put together multiple performances where he has filled up the scoring column, showing the ability to generate points in different ways carrying a significant offensive load. Beyond his scoring, Long has also displayed more athleticism than many may have expected, especially in the open floor where he can get downhill and finish plays in transition.

With his combination of size, shot-making ability, and offensive versatility, Long continues to build momentum as the summer progresses. If he maintains this level of production, it would not be surprising to see additional programs show interest. He has the tools to be a tremendous value pickup and could prove to be a steal for the right Division II program.

[player_tooltip player_id='2205720' first='Lincoln' last='Elliott'] | 6'2" Guard | Blue Valley Northwest

Ottawa has also extended offers to a handful of area prospects recently, including [player_tooltip player_id='2205720' first='Lincoln' last='Elliott']. An under-the-radar name, Elliott has put together a strong spring and continues to make a case for more programs to join in on his recruitment.

Elliott's biggest strength has been his ability to shoot the basketball at a high level. He's at his best working off screens and utilizing different actions to free himself into open space, where he can quickly get his shot off and make defenses pay. His movement without the ball and feel for finding openings have made him a consistent perimeter threat throughout the spring.

In addition to his shooting, Elliott has begun to show more of an attacking mentality when defenders close out aggressively. Rather than settling, he's taking advantage of those opportunities to put the ball on the floor and create offense, adding another dimension to his game. As he continues to expand his offensive package, Elliott looks like a prospect who could attract even more attention moving forward.

[player_tooltip player_id='2334910' first='Sekou' last='Cisse'] | 6'9" Forward | Principia

The dominant big man recently added another offer, with Southern Illinois becoming the latest program to join the conversation. Cisse has been strong as of late, and his continued production has kept his recruitment moving in the right direction.

With his combination of size, physicality, and a polished back-to-the-basket skill set, he brings a clear interior presence that is tough to deal with on the block. His ability to establish position and finish through contact makes him a consistent problem for opposing frontcourts, and he has shown he can anchor an offense inside.

Given that production, it raises some questions about why more high-major or power conference programs have not yet been more involved. Still, Cisse continues to build momentum and now has multiple options on the table as he heads into a pivotal summer. If he can carry this recent form into the evaluation period, he should be in line for a strong stretch of recruiting attention moving forward.

Thian Riak | 6'4" Guard | We Are United Prep

The strong and physical guard Riak has added another offer, this time from Austin Peay. Thian has delivered several strong performances this spring, showcasing his athleticism and a high motor that translates on both ends of the floor.

Heading to We Are United Prep in Missouri this fall, he will bring his game to a new stage where the state will get an up-close look at one of the faster-rising prospects in the 2027 class. His energy, physicality, and two-way impact have continued to stand out, and he looks poised to generate even more attention as the recruiting process moves forward. If his current trajectory holds, additional offers should not be far behind.
