My Five Best From Friday and Saturday at GBCA Southeast Live

After two days of evaluating talent, these five players separated themselves with their production, consistency, and overall impact. He was one of the best Point Guards I saw all weekend long, racking up 25 points and 4 assists against Tri-Cities (GA) and 16 points and 6 assists against Mooresville (NC). Johnson is lightning quick with the ball in his hands and hits tough shots off the dribble at all three levels. However, one thing that stood out to me this weekend was his passing. Jaden's passing has gone up a level this summer, so he's now just as deadly setting up a teammate as he is scoring the ball himself. Jayden and the War Eagles had one of the more impressive wins on Saturday, knocking off Woodward Academy (GA) 73-47. He was huge in that game, putting up a game-high 19 points on 3 3-5 3FG. Rowe's perimeter shooting was important from the jump, knocking down a pair of threes off the catch and another one off the dribble. His best was a 13-point, 6-rebound game against Miami Slam (FL) on Saturday afternoon. RJ was extremely active throughout the game, particularly around the rim, cleaning up misses, stalking the baseline, and getting out in transition. There were a host of college coaches on the sideline to check in with Hall as well, and he impressed with a near double-double against Dorman (SC). Listed at 6'10", Hall is as big and physical a big man prospect as you will see - and he looks like he wants to dunk everything when he's in the paint. The Sarasota (FL) guard has earned several fans from this event over the last two seasons, particularly with his combination of shooting and playmaking. Johnny truly can play either position in the backcourt because of his prowess as a catch-and-shoot threat, as well as his ability to handle the ball and make others better. Lackaff plays the game with excellent poise and does a great job of dictating pace when he's on the ball. If given four years in a program, I can easily see Johnny having lots of success in college basketball.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
