Announcing a plan to do a postgrad year and head to college as a 2028 grad, Sam will stay in our 2027 rankings as he prepares for his senior season in the OHSAA. Sam has been on a steady upward trajectory and he had a big scoring game Vs Lyon County in a fun battle between small school programs. Sam's strength is a major advantage when he drives to the rim. Obviously perimeter shooting is a main skill for Sam and he made a handful of 3-pointers in Bellbrook's victory over the Kentucky small town powerhouse.

Aiken is looking sharp in the summer and Washington is the guy who makes the offense work for their group. Way too quick for anybody on the opposition to stay in front of, Washington was getting to the rim whenever he wanted to on Saturday afternoon. Aiken can also turn up the defensive pressure and Washington helped spark a 6-0 run where the opposition never even crossed halfcourt. College coaches left impressed with Washington as he picked up his first Division I offer to South Carolina State this weekend.

One reason why Aiken is going to be such a tough match-up for other teams this season is because of their size in the paint and Blye was putting his height and physical tools to use on Saturday. Blye protects the rim just by standing around the paint as he deters smaller guards from even looking to drive to the rim to score. Byle also controls the glass on both ends of the court and fits well in the up-tempo system that Aiken plays as he runs the floor well for a big. A prospect with a lot of long-term upside, Blye is trending upwards as summer basketball continues.

A prospect who is skyrocketing at the moment, Cochran has taken his game to the next level in June with Dublin Coffman and getting the love from Division I programs that he deserves. Cochran knocked down maybe seven 3-pointers in the game I caught on Saturday as his floor spacing ability from the power forward position is incredibly valuable. Cochran also found success as a slasher and while he is reliant on his left hand to finish at the rim, he has been making strides as an athlete and diversifying where his scoring comes from. I predicted that Cochran would be a major stock riser during the month of June and his ascension is in full swing.

A utility piece for the Rocks, Turner really competed on Saturday at both ends of the court. Playing hard is cool as you can impact winning by coming up with loose balls and offensive rebounds to give yourself and your teammates extra chances to score. Turner had a couple buckets around the rim and knew how to pass the basketball but his effort and intensity was by far what stood out the most to me on Saturday.

Princeton has played a ton of games in June and has seen a rotating cast of pieces take the court depending on the day. On Saturday, Lee was called upon to play against Fairdale and the rising sophomore had a monster performance. Lee finished multiple and-1 finishes and knocked down a couple 3-pointers off the catch. Lee also had a couple putback layups as he used his size and physicality well. A young forward prospect with a ton of upside and natural talent, Lee is a prime breakout candidate from the greater Cincinnati area as he projects to play a major role for the defending Division I state champions.
