June Rankings Update: Stock-Rising 2027s

Whether it was breakout performances on the spring circuit or steady growth in their overall game, each player gave Prep Hoops SC plenty to consider during the latest update. From a college recruitment standpoint, no player outside the Top 10 had as productive a spring as Ford, who earned offers from in-state D2s Francis Marion and Newberry. Kayson is as smooth as they come offensively, but isn't simply a scorer when he has the rock. Vandergrift is a true winning player who finds a way to positively impact the game in many ways. Joseph had an excellent spring season and was one of the most-improved players I've seen over the last three months. He has turned into an excellent jump shooter, which is the reason why he jumps up to the #82 spot. Despite his size, Javion never has any issues running an offense at a high level. He is an excellent passer who makes all the players around him better every game, but he can also get a bucket for himself when he needs to. He is a fast and shifty guard who gets downhill and scores as good as anyone in the state. Christian holds an offer from Defiance College and averaged 26.9 points per game in 2025-26. I didn't get to see him during the high school season, but now, having seen him multiple times with NGNG SC, it was clear to see the potential that McIlwain has. Greenway was a key piece for Upward Pee Dee in the spring season thanks to his shooting prowess. The spacing he creates is crucial to their offense, which features a lot of guards.
