Indiana All-Star Classic - Futures Games Under-the-Radar Stars

The 18th annual Indiana Boys All-Star Basketball Classic took place at Anderson University on Friday. This event features two games with Class of 2027 prospects competing against one another and two games with Class of 2028 and Class of 2029 prospects competing against one another. Prep Hoops Indiana had boots on the ground coverage throughout the day from this event. Here are some of the under-the-radar stars from the two Futures All-Star games.   <hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity" />    Liberty Christian seems to consistently have talent coming up through their program. Allen played his way into a varsity role as a freshman is looking to expand it further now as a sophomore. He showcased impressive end-to-end explosiveness on Friday at the Indiana All-Star Classic consistently pushing the pace and making things happen in the open floor. There is a lot to like about his upside as a playmaker. He finished with 10 points in the game.     No stranger to put up some big numbers, Bishop shot it well from three-point range and showed off his all-around scoring ability at the Indiana All-Star Classic. He can really get hot from three-point range, but also has a well-rounded game off of the dribble which includes making plays for his teammates. Bishop, a rising junior at West Central High School, is a solid under-the-radar prospect to track in Indiana's Class of 2028.     We first came across this 6'1" rising junior prospect from Mishawaka High School early in April at a Prep Hoops Circuit event. Fowler has continued to capture our attention since in then in a variety of different settings. He is a high-upside, two-way guard that gets to the basket with the best of them and can also really create some havoc defensively on the perimeter. Fowler is a good rebounder from the guard position, is a legitimate weak side shot-block threat that people don't account for, and can create for himself off of the dribble defensively.     One of the top scorers and shot-makers in Indiana's Class of 2028, Selking is still waiting to really capture the attention of those across the state. The 6'0" scored 17 points on Friday which included connecting on five three-point shots. That scoring ability translates beyond Bellmont High School and makes him a legitimate Top 50 prospect in Indiana's Class of 2028. His ability to shoot it from beyond the arc was on fully display at the Indiana All-Star Classic.     Smith is an excellent attacker off of the bounce. He has the strength to play through contact, the speed to get downhill to the rim, and the skill to score it in a variety of different ways. The 6'1" guard was also very active and disruptive on the defensive end of the floor. He went on to finish with 9 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 steals in the Indiana All-Star Classic.     Yates, who has transferred from Tindley to Fishers High School for his junior season, was all over the glass and made a serious impact around the basket at both ends of the floor on Friday. The versatile 6'4" forward has the strength to bang around with big front court matchups while possessing the ball skill to make some plays from the perimeter. He finished with 8 rebounds in the first Futures All-Star game at Anderson University.
