Christian Heritage and SACA had strong showings in Class 3A-1A Private.&nbsp; Butler fell in the Class 2A in state championship. Christian Heritage's discipline and the explosive scoring of [player_tooltip player_id='2419528' first='Nigel' last='Broome'] makes them dangerous. Broome was one of GBCA's leading scorers last summer, routinely going over 25 points a game. [player_tooltip player_id='2887534' first='Charlie' last='Baxter'] entering Year 2 could add another crafty scorer to the mix. Lovett is coming of age behind [player_tooltip player_id='2102283' first='Cameron' last='Cannon'], a slick scorer with major experience. D-I schools have begun offering rising sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='2895573' first='Phillip' last='Claybrooks'] while [player_tooltip player_id='2523965' first='Daniel' last='Gadsden'] provides versatility at the forward position. SACA is another trending private school. [player_tooltip player_id='3658976' first='Corey' last='Harris'] is a dominant rim protector while [player_tooltip player_id='3569305' first='Jabari' last='Burleson'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2691494' first='Talyn' last='Harris'] are bucket getters. [player_tooltip player_id='2708426' first='De'Quayvian' last='Lovette'] is one of the state's better guards that should continue to make a name for himself at GBCA. Butler is well-coached, stingy on defense with a fun one-two punch between [player_tooltip player_id='2711227' first='De'Cori' last='Fleming'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2711228' first='Jamil' last='Walker']. Marietta has balance as well between [player_tooltip player_id='2523867' first='Merrick' last='Ham'], a physical stretch-big and [player_tooltip player_id='3026767' first='Peyton' last='Easley'] a transfer from North Cobb who has spent time at multiple private schools.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
