Jackson is a confident and potent scoring guard who showed the ability to create offense off the bounce. He has a quick first step, handles the ball well, and does a good job using his dribble to get to his spots on the floor. He consistently created paint touches and looked comfortable attacking gaps, but his ability to stop and score in the midrange was another part of his game that stood out. He is tough to contain once he gets downhill because he can change speeds, create separation, and make plays off the bounce. What really caught my attention was his confidence. He plays with the mindset of a scorer and has the ability to heat up quickly once he sees a couple of shots go through the net. Continuing to become more consistent as a perimeter shooter and developing his playmaking reads when defenses collapse will make him an even tougher cover.
