Who made the biggest shots late? It was Ash Vollrath. After a scoreless first half, the big man stepped up late in the game with a drive, a three-pointer and a slam dunk to ice it. Vollrath has interesting offensive skills. He didn't play much last year but is in line for key minutes if the Red Elephants don't add anymore transfers. Ash is a sneaky skilled late bloomer who could be appealing for NAIA and D-III programs if not higher. The physical post finished with 6 points, 6 rebounds and 3 blocks. Carver's length and athleticism made it challenging for the Rebels to finish at the rim, but when Watkins was able to gather himself and use ball fakes, he managed to convert.
