While he may not lead the Tigers in scoring often, make no mistake Zavion is a critical piece to Commerce’s success. The undersized Tigers rely on Smith to bring toughness and activity inside the paint upon entering off the bench. He is a live body, lanky with long arms. His motor stood out to me, playing hard on each possession. Zavion tallied 4 points, 3 rebounds and 1 assists but his impact was felt beyond the box score with his effort.
