Unfortunately, I was only able to attend the games on Saturday, but it was a full day of competitive basketball. It was great to witness how players have developed since the end of their high school season. No player is a finished product, and it's always encouraging to see their progress along with potential upside.

Connor Moy | Seward Park - The point guard played with confidence and showed he's capable as both a playmaker and a scorer. He drove baseline and finished creatively off the dribble, followed by a catch ands hoot three from the left corner. I'm interested in tracking his progression moving forward.

He knocked down threes from various spots on the perimeter and finished with either hand when getting downhill.

[player_tooltip player_id='2623870' first='Malachi' last='Miller'] | Holy Cross - Malachi played with fluidity and appeared to be actively scanning the floor with the ball in his hands. He looked quicker and stronger as a facilitator, driving and kicking to create open looks. His eyes were always up in transition, ready to advance the play.

[player_tooltip player_id='2248991' first='Nicholas' last='Rebracca'] | St. Joseph by the Sea - Nic moved well off the ball, consistently finding himself open on the perimeter. He used his smooth release to connect on jumper shots. He doesn't settle for perimeter jumpers, he drove the ball with purpose, not shying away from contact. Underrated as a playmaker, he showcased strong awareness throughout the weekend.

[player_tooltip player_id='3142680' first='Richard' last='Fernandez'] | St. John's Prep - Rich will bring back much needed experience next season. He has a quick release and the ability to knock down multiple jumpers in a row. He used his body well to create angles and finish at the rim.

[player_tooltip player_id='2891626' first='Se'nre' last='Tuitt'] | Kennedy Catholic - He was patient running the offense and handled pressure well. He knocked down jumpers and used his first step to get downhill. He relied on his ability to make quick decisions, driving the ball and making sharp reads to create open looks after drawing defenders.
