The buzz around St Francis Prep early this fall is that Dottin was in line for a big sophomore jump. Saturday was an example on why people around the Terrier are so high on the talented guard. He started off setting the table for his teammates before knocking down a pair of open threes and attacking the paint all game long. He pushed tempo consistently and found the mismatch on the floor consistently- making sure his teammates got the ball in the right spots and situations. With great size and continued growth as a point guard, Dottin is certainly trending in the right direction.

Dottin opened the weekend with an efficient 17-point, eight-rebound and five-assist performance in a convincing win over Thomas Jefferson. The sophomore has been viewed as a potential high-level prospect since arriving at St. Francis Prep and now appears ready for a breakout season. With excellent positional size, a willingness to battle around the rim and the ability to impact multiple areas of the game, there is not much Dottin cannot do on the floor.

He received valuable experience last season in big games and crunch time. Very smooth with the ball able to get to the rim. Can knock down threes. Plays with an ease in controll.

Coming off of a sensational freshman year. Austin showed a lot of confidence and poise handling the ball. He plays an almost effortless natural looking game, so comfortable on the court. Can shoot the three or weave his way to the basket and score the ball. Very quick hands defensively. A high level prospect.

The freshman averaged 7.4 ppg. He showed a lot of smoothness and poise handling the ball in games. He possesses a natural effortless style to his play. Very comfortable with the ball. Weaves his way to the rim.

Like I mentioned about Stepinac losing players so did St Francis Prep to graduations but they have alot of young talent ready to explode in the city. Austin is in a trio of them with Eli. He is such a smooth player. The game looks effortless to him when handling the ball. Just looks to have a natural basketball skill set. Can knock down threes. Really good at weaving his way to the rim and finishing. Also was really good guarding the ball.
