The 6'5” wing impressed me with his ability to create using the dribble and the threat of him pulling up for jump shots. I saw him connect on a very tough turnaround jumper, which was very quick and smooth. The 5'11” freshman guard is an excellent defender and was making opposing ball handlers make mistakes all game. He was constantly applying pressure, picking up full court. He has great instincts and was forcing turnovers which turned into easy baskets on the other end. He is a great lead ball handler, as his game consists of a nice blend of scoring and facilitating. He is never scared of attacking a defender bigger than him, converting on some tough contested finishes. The freshman guard displayed a lot of confidence and ability to create for himself using the dribble. I was really impressed with some of his takes to the basket, being able to make one move to get by his defender to then convert on a tough finish inside. He has a strong 6'5” frame with lengthy arms, which he used to block shots on the defensive end, moving very well for his size and age, covering a lot of ground. He also showed that he could score with his back to the basket, showing off some great footwork and touch around the basket. He was at his best when creating for himself and others using the dribble, being able to hit shots from just about anywhere on the floor. He is a very confident offensive option, as was pulling up off the dribble and with a hand in his face. He impressed me some with the rebounds he was able to come away with, chasing down contested offensive boards, where he could then go right back up for a putback basket.
