Georgia continues to produce a deep and talented group of lead guards in the 2027 class, and the spring travel season only reinforced that reputation. From high level shot creators to true floor generals who can run a team and make winning plays, several point guards strengthened their standing with impressive performances. Here's a closer look at some of the top point guards in our Updated 2027 Rankings heading into a pivotal summer evaluation periods.

Recent Alabama commit Diaz continues to establish himself as one of the premier lead guards in the country, averaging 18.5 points per game for the NY Rens on Nike's EYBL circuit. The smooth, shifty New York City native is exceptional with the basketball in his hands, consistently creating advantages with his handle, pace, and ability to change speeds. Diaz is extremely difficult to keep out of the paint, where he can finish, draw help defenders, or create opportunities for teammates. A very good passer with advanced playmaking instincts, he reads defenses well and delivers the ball accurately in a variety of situations. He is also a reliable shot maker who can score from beyond the arc. Playing with confidence and poise, Diaz combines scoring ability, playmaking, and feel for the game at a high level, making him one of the top point guard prospects in the 2027 class.

One of the top scorers on the adidas 3SSB circuit with Game Elite, Savage continues to prove why he is among the elite lead guards in the country. A highly skilled floor general, he plays with exceptional poise and a very high basketball IQ, consistently making the right reads and controlling the pace of the game. Savage combines good quickness with advanced ball handling ability, allowing him to create separation and get wherever he wants on the floor. He is equally effective as a scorer or facilitator, capable of breaking down defenses, delivering high level passes, and creating easy opportunities for teammates. Add in his ability to consistently knock down shots from the perimeter and off the dribble, and Savage becomes one of the most complete offensive guards in his class.

Another high-level scorer on the adidas 3SSB circuit, Keith averaged an impressive 20.4 points and 3.5 assists per game across eight contests this spring. A skilled ball handling guard, he has the ability to take over games as a scorer while also creating opportunities for teammates when defenses collapse. Keith possesses above average quickness and athleticism, changes speeds effectively, and does an excellent job keeping defenders off balance. He is a reliable shot maker who can score from beyond the arc, attack off the dribble, and create offense in a variety of ways. Beyond his offensive production, Keith plays with toughness and confidence, consistently competing against high level competition. His combination of scoring ability, skill, athleticism, and feel for the game makes him one of the more dangerous backcourt prospects on the adidas circuit.

Williams finished the high school season in impressive fashion with Harlem, establishing himself as one of state's top point guards before being sidelined him this spring due to injury. A scoring point guard with a good feel for the game, he is extremely difficult to keep out of the paint and consistently puts pressure on defenses with his ability to attack off the dribble. Williams is a capable perimeter shot maker who can knock down three pointers at a high rate, while also creating his own offense and making plays in space. He sees the floor well, makes smart decisions, and has the ability to find open teammates when defenses collapse. With his combination of scoring ability, playmaking instincts, and offensive versatility, Williams should draw significant attention from college coaches once he returns to the court.

Taylor averaged 10 points and more than 3 assists per game in EYBL play for UPlay Canada, continuing to establish himself as a rising prospect in the 2027 class. A quick, scoring lead guard, he does an excellent job getting downhill and putting pressure on defenses with his ability to attack the paint and finish around the basket. Taylor is also a reliable perimeter shot maker who can knock down three pointers both off the catch and off the dribble, making him a threat at multiple levels. Beyond his scoring ability, he plays with a strong feel for the game, makes sound decisions, and consistently creates opportunities for teammates.
