Williams pressures defenses relentlessly with his downhill aggression and scorer’s mentality. The explosive guard attacks gaps confidently and consistently finishes through traffic around the rim. AJ thrives putting defenders in compromised positions and forcing rotations once he gets into the paint.
While he’s capable of heating up from the perimeter, his greatest strength remains his ability to collapse defenses off the bounce. Williams embraces big moments and never shies away from taking difficult shots late in games.
Williams finished the high school season in impressive fashion with Harlem, establishing himself as one of state’s top point guards before being sidelined him this spring due to injury. A scoring point guard with a good feel for the game, he is extremely difficult to keep out of the paint and consistently puts pressure on defenses with his ability to attack off the dribble. Williams is a capable perimeter shot maker who can knock down three pointers at a high rate, while also creating his own offense and making plays in space. He sees the floor well, makes smart decisions, and has the ability to find open teammates when defenses collapse. With his combination of scoring ability, playmaking instincts, and offensive versatility, Williams should draw significant attention from college coaches once he returns to the court.

has built a reputation as a go-to option in the CSRA. He’s aggressive off the bounce, attacking gaps and finishing with confidence around the rim. Williams can get hot from the perimeter, but his bread and butter is putting pressure on the defense and forcing rotations. He plays with a scorer’s mindset and isn’t afraid to take (and make) tough shots late in games. As he continues to refine his shot selection and playmaking, his production becomes even more dangerous. A proven bucket-getter who can tilt games in a hurry. Went for 28 points and 6 rebounds in the state championship.
The Augusta-area guard finished the season at a high level for Harlem, helping lead the program to a near state title run. Williams is a lead guard who consistently puts pressure on the defense and is tough to keep out of the paint. He is a solid perimeter shot maker with range, can create his own offense off the bounce, and plays with a strong feel for the game. Williams also sees the floor well and can find open teammates, making him a potential breakout prospect this offseason.
The Bulldogs’ point guard was outstanding and arguably the best player on the floor despite the loss. Williams is a scoring lead guard with a high basketball IQ who does an excellent job controlling the tempo and making plays for himself and others. He finished with 28 points, showcasing his ability to change speeds, effectively use ball screens, and create scoring opportunities. A gifted passer and confident playmaker, Williams has a very bright future ahead of him.
One of the state’s top junior prospects, Williams is averaging 19.5 points and 5.5 assists per game for Harlem. The lead guard is tough to keep out of the paint, can create his own offense off the bounce, and is a reliable shot maker from beyond the arc. He plays with a strong feel for the game and consistently finds open teammates, making him an effective scorer and facilitator.
Shine’s teammate at Harlem High School, Williams is a lead guard who is tough to keep out of the paint, a solid shot maker from 3 and can create his own offense off the bounce. Head Coach Jeffrey WilliamsJeffreyWilliams

‘ son, AJ is scoring over 18 points per game and handing out nearly 5 assists per game. The junior has a high basketball IQ and a bright future as a college prospect.
In just six games of action returning from a torn labrum, Williams nearly led Harlem to the Sweet 16 as he averaged 19.8 points, 3.7 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 2 steals. Williams can do it all on the floor. He’s got an effortless three-point shot which has rapidly improved. With his physical frame, he’s able to slice into the defense to get two feet in the paint. AJ sees the floor exceptionally well. Williams has a lot of similarities to Alexander’s Pops Dunson, a Colorado State-commit. AJ WilliamsAJWilliams

is one of Georgia’s elite point men.
Georgia State offered after watching AJ at GBCA Live. While Williams has been known to go on scoring binges during the travel ball season, he is very much so a team-first playmaker when playing for his dad at Harlem. AJ can explode for 20 points any given moment but instead primarily chooses to elevate his teammates first. In a 62-38 win against Upson-Lee, AJ filled up the box score with 9 points, 3 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals. The high-ceiling guard can do a little bit of everything.
Returned from a torn labrum with renewed focus and improved physique. Williams is a dangerous offensive weapon, hitting pull-up threes off the dribble and blowing by defenders for straight-line drives. A creative playmaker with elite vision and touch on passes. Now hearing from numerous high-major programs, Williams’ trajectory is clearly ascending.
