Nobody does content and event coverage like Prep Hoops. We are in the gym every single weekend throughout the spring and summer not just covering our own events, but also hitting some of the top circuits across the country. During this spring live evaluation period we had boots on the ground coverage at both 3SSB Session II in Mishawaka, Indiana and UAA Session II in Hamilton, Ohio. As always, we will be highlighting top performers and producing a ton of content over the next several days from our time spent at these events. Here are some of the top stock-risers from the state across all events from the live period.

An important rotation piece for the Class 2A State Champion Parke Heritage Wolves, Goins has had a strong spring for Fire Basketball Club 17u on the NXT Pro Circuit. That was true once again out in Tulsa, Oklahoma during the live period. The 5'10" point guard averaged 15 points and 6 assists per game over the weekend. He is an under-the-radar name to watch heading into the summer.

Team Tradition was a bit short-handed on the weekend, but Gore stepped up and played at a high level on the UA Rise Circuit. Already well known as a sharpshooter from three-point range, the guard from Zionsville High School showed off his ball handling and overall playmaking ability during the live period. He finished the weekend averaging 16.7 points per game and dished out five assists in Team Tradition's matchup on Sunday. Definitely one to watch for small college programs.

Not just a stock-riser from the live period, but the spring in general, Kalkat has quickly made himself a highly sought after prospect for small college guards across the Division II, Division III, and NAIA levels. After an excellent junior year at Whiteland High School that saw him average 16.9 points per game on 50/40/90 shooting splits, Kalkat has led [program_tooltip program_id='2471005' first='Legacy' last='Ice Elite'] 17u to a 23-2 spring which has included several wins over shoe circuit teams and a perfect 4-0 weekend at Prep Hoops Live.

Similar to his role with a very good Terre Haute North team as a junior, Loyd is a ball-mover and catch-and-shoot threat for Progeny UA Grind 17u. He often serves as their primary ball handler and does a great job of facilitating to his many talented teammates. However, when off of the ball, he is also one of their best shooters. Loyd's biggest game of the weekend came in a win over Fundamental U on Saturday when he scored 23 points on 6-7 shooting from three-point range.

There aren't a lot of guards in Indiana's Class of 2027 that can get to the paint as quickly or consistently as this New Albany High School playmaker. He has some truly explosive quickness off of the bounce which he uses to attract the attention of multiple defenders. From there, he is a quick processor and good decision-maker as a passer. McKee is also one of the best, move disruptive backcourt defenders that you will find. He has had a good spring for [program_tooltip program_id='2400093' first='Indiana' last='Elite Team Tradition'] 17u and should go into the summer as a highly sought after small college guard.

Ransom has announced that he has transferred from Chesterton and will be at Valparaiso High School for his senior season. We had a chance to see him play with [program_tooltip program_id='2075551' first='Indiana' last='Game'] Gold on the UA Grind Circuit in Hamilton, Ohio this weekend. The quick, athletic, left-handed guard did a great job of consistently beating his man off of the dribble and getting into the paint. At the end of his drives he proved to be a creative finisher when up against opposing size. He brings some two-way ability to the backcourt that could be worth a look for some small college coaches.

Wilson played his way into a solid rotation role at Brownsburg High School as a junior. He is now having a big spring on the NXT Pro Circuit with Fire Basketball Club 17u. The strong, physical, athletic wing finished the weekend off with a performance of 27 points and 12 rebounds. He averaged 20.5 points and 9.5 rebounds per game overall in Tulsa. The two-way versatility he provides on the wing is something to track heading into the summer months.

A 6'8" massive interior presence, Young posted a pair of double-doubles for a very good Midwest Renegades 17u squad on the P32 Circuit in Dallas during the live period. He moves so well for his size showcasing quick feet and good hands to pair with his obvious strength and physicality. Young had performances of 12 points and 10 rebounds and 13 points and 11 rebounds over the course of the weekend. He is a big man that you can throw it to in the post with the intent to score.
