Nobody does content and event coverage like Prep Hoops. We are in the gym every single weekend throughout the spring and summer not just covering our own events, but also hitting some of the top circuits across the country. During this spring live evaluation period we had boots on the ground coverage at both 3SSB Session II in Mishawaka, Indiana and UAA Session II in Hamilton, Ohio. As always, we will be highlighting top performers and producing a ton of content over the next several days from our time spent at these events. Here are some of the top prospects that we saw on Saturday at 3SSB Session II in Mishawaka, Indiana.

It continues to be a very productive spring for Chesterton High School forward [player_tooltip player_id='2878216' first='Bradley' last='Basila']. The 6'7" athlete had an excellent showing on Saturday for Indiana Elite 16u which included a double-double of 14 points and 11 rebounds in the game we watched in the morning. His athleticism translates to excellent rebounding and a high-upside on the defensive end. He was also effective on the roll consistently creating separation and finishing with strength and explosiveness inside. Basila's strong play landed him his first offer from Oral Roberts.

Another day, another excellent showing by [player_tooltip player_id='2457404' first='Caleb' last='Coolman']. The smooth 6'4" point guard had 18 points in the morning and then 26 points in the evening for Indiana Elite 16u. He is an excellent perimeter shot-maker, but also uses his size to whip passes all over the floor and score off of the bounce inside. Coolman's excellent weekend in Mishawaka netted him an offer from Oklahoma State.

This weekend was my first chance to really get an extended, live look at Kentucky's top prospect. In 15+ years of coaching and scouting Grivna is one of the most advanced young big men that I have seen. To be 6'10" and move the way he does, playing with both fluidity and physicality, is something you do not see much in freshman centers. He was a dominant force around the basket for Wildcat Select 15u.

There is no way there are 10 prospects better than Yann Kamagate in the Class of 2028. There might not be five and it isn't crazy to consider him the potential top player in the class at this point. He has everything you could want in a big man. Legit 7-foot size, strength as a finisher, explosive vertical leaping ability, high-level shot blocking, and excellent rebounding instincts. He was one of the most impressive prospects of the weekend at 3SSB Session II playing up at the 17u level for Compton Magic.

Mohler continues to make a strong case for himself at the top of the Prep Hoops Indiana Class of 2029 prospect rankings. The 6'4" guard was excellent all weekend long for Midwest Basketball Club 15u. He finished with 11 points, 13 rebounds, and 3 assists in the game we watched on Saturday. His combination of size, strength, and skill level is rare to find in a player his age.

It wouldn't be surprising at all to see a few offers roll in coming out of the live period for Myrick. He shot the ball at a really high level in both games that we had the opportunity to watch on Saturday at 3SSB Session II in Mishawaka. Myrick is a long, lean 6'4" guard that can really shoot it from three-point range, but also flashed some smooth driving ability when attacking closeouts. There is a lot to like about his offensive game. One to watch for Midwest Basketball Club 17u.

Playing in front of a ton of college coaches, including Purdue head coach Matt Painter, Savage displayed why he is considered a four-star, Top 50 national prospect. The 5'11" left-handed point guard had his explosive playmaking ability on full display pouring in 29 points in a game for Game Elite 17u. He is without a doubt one of the best point guards in the Class of 2027.

Arguably the most impressive individual performance of the day at 3SSB Session II on Saturday belonged to [player_tooltip player_id='2140345' first='Cooper' last='Zachary']. The 5'10" point guard poured in 27 points while shooting an incredible 7-8 from three-point range in a win for Midwest Basketball Club 17u over Austin Rivers Southeast Elite. His playmaking and shot-making abilities were on full display in front of dozens of college coaches all weekend long.
