Power 5 got into a dogfight to open pool play and were able to come out with a victory in large part thanks to the play of Rademaker in the paint. The big man had a clear size advantage on the interior and used it to his advantage with simple catch and finishes in the paint, post moves over his right shoulder and offensive rebounds to get extra chances to score. It was nice to see a big man with a size advantage use it to be efficient scoring at the rim as the Wisconsin DME Academy big man was one of the most productive players I saw on Friday evening.

A monster performance from Brinager in front of a ton of Division II coaches, he will be an extremely hot commodity at that level and flashed the potential of why Division I programs will want to give him a look during the live periods this spring and summer. Looking confident on the ball, Brinager made a defender fall with a quick crossover move that ended in free throws when he got fouled at the rim. Knocking down some tough jumpers off pindown actions and isolation situations, Brinager was scoring the ball with a lot of confidence and found a major rhythm in the second half of the game. After having some up and down performances to open this summer, Brinager was as dominant as anybody on a court with multiple Division I targets and a top 50 nationally ranked prospect tonight.

Providing excellent energy off the bench for his team, Jajczyk was fearless going against bigger, stronger and more athletic guards on a stacked 3SSB roster and made a monster impact. Hustling as hard as any player I watched on Friday, Jajczyk was making a beeline for loose balls and causing havoc in the trapping full court pressure Midwest Basketball Club MHC used to get back into the game. Jajczyk also scored off a putback layup, was fouled a couple times in transition and overall just brought a spark to his team. So much of what made Jajczyk successful on Friday doesn't take talent it just takes effort and fearlessness and he displayed both of those skills excellently on Friday. Small town stud who is punching well above his weight class this weekend and an example for younger players to watch.

Joining Griffin Elite, Holman had a MONSTER performance in a thrilling overtime contest Vs [program_tooltip program_id='2320052' first='All' last='Ohio Red'] to end the night. Holman was getting whatever he wanted when he attacked downhill as he does such a good job getting back to his left hand with spin moves and crossovers. An acrobatic finisher at the rim, Holman has the strength and athleticism to hang and twist his body around rim protectors in the paint. The highlight of the night came when Holman drove down the lane and snuck in a poster dunk past two [program_tooltip program_id='2320052' first='All' last='Ohio Red'] defenders in a magnificent display of his quick twitch explosiveness. Overall a dominant performance from Holman who was one of the best guards in Kentucky before making the move to the Prep level with Hargrave Military Academy.

[program_tooltip program_id='2320052' first='All' last='Ohio Red'] added a handful of players to try and re-tool their roster after some disappointing early season losses. While the additions have certainly made improvements with the team, the guard duo of Denny and [player_tooltip player_id='2532400' first='Cayden' last='Kynard'] who have both been on the roster were as productive as anybody on Friday evening. I thought Denny did a better job of making quick decisions and not letting the ball stick to his hands. Looking confident in his teammates to score once he gave up the basketball, Denny made some slick passes through traffic for easy looks for his teammates and we all know Denny can get hot in a hurry from downtown. One of the more talented small school prospects in Ohio's 2027 class, this summer with [program_tooltip program_id='2320052' first='All' last='Ohio Red'] will allow college programs to see how he stacks up against top regional talent.
