With many offers and commitments going out to prospects across the state, we wanted to take some time and reflect on some of the latest recruiting buzz from around the state. With most of our focus on the 2027 class, we also wanted to check-in on some seniors as well.

The 6'6" wing has garnered a couple of offers in the last few weeks. With Cowley College coming first, followed up by the University of Dallas. Look for Baba to decide soon on where he will take his talents. One thing is for sure, wherever he chooses to play, JoJo will look to provide an immediate impact with his length and athleticism.

Antwi-Donkor was a 5A All-Star during his senior season and helped propel his Newcastle team to a tremendous season. The 6'5" forward has held offers from Northeastern Oklahoma A&M and Mid-America Christian University. However, Ivan has decided to commit to Northern Oklahoma College-Tonkawa. Look for Antwi-Donkor to continue to build on his current skill set at the next level. He's a strong defender that can play multiple positions.

Nash, who has put together an outstanding high school career already, has now received two more offers from McPherson and Independence Community College. The rising junior is off to a strong start on the AAU circuit and looks to continue to elevate his play. With great court vision and elite ball handling, Nash looks primed for a huge senior season.

Smalley most recently committed to Mid-America Christian University in Oklahoma City. His basketball IQ and energy allow him to play bigger than his 6'0" frame. Emory is a true leader that can impact games at a high level with the ball in his hands. The Western Athletic Conference MVP from Blanchard will look to make an immediate impact at the next level.

Pogi is the first commitment for Oklahoma State in their 2027 class. Having already made a decision, Tyson should have some comfort and peace of mind as he heads into his senior season at Southmoore. Tyson and his teammates had a gauntlet for a schedule this past season and the junior should be able to draw from a lot of those experiences. With five 30+ point games for the SaberCats this season, look for Pogi to continue to elevate his play with more clutch shot-making as he is an elite offensive player.

Leache recently wrapped up his recruiting also, committing to play for Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia. Look for the senior to push for playing time early in the Great American Conference. The Terra Verde standout can impact games in a variety of different ways. Leache has a strong frame that he uses on both ends of the floor to make a difference. In his final season, he averaged more than 12 points, five assists, five rebounds and two steals per game.

Alsup had been committed to Southwest Baptist University since February, but recently had a change of heart and has flipped his commitment to Northwestern Oklahoma State University. Like Leache, this is another Division II program in the Great American Conference. The 6'7" forward has continued to show his versatility while also brining outstanding energy to the floor. Alsup is very active as a help side defender and can block shots at a high level. Offensively, he has a knack for carving out space and scoring in the paint. Jantz can also put the ball on the floor and has room for growth as a floor spacer at the next level.
