About Emory

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

A team player that can fill many roles. Three level scorer and can find open teammates with drive and kick passes. Scrappy on-ball defender and a great backside communicator.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Good at getting jobs done, keeps a team on the same page. Will do whatever it takes to win.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Great leader by example on and off the floor.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I had fractured my ankle at the beginning of my Junior year and had find to new ways to stay effective. I also had to play a new position this year, I have primarily been a pass-first point guard and was pushed into a scoring role and succeeded.

What type of college are you looking for?

I just want to find the best fit for me as a person and as a player.

The senior has been pouring in the points to start the season. Especially from deep by shooting the ball from three at a high rate and great shooting percentage. He recently led to the United Bank Classic at Bethel Championship, where he earned MVP honors. The Lions are now 6-0 and ranked 7th in Class 4A. Smalley’s ability to shoot and score the rock has them in the Class 4A State Tournament picture.
