Now that the weekend is in the rearview mirror it is time to start highlighting some of the top individual performers that we had the chance to evaluate. The Prep Hoops Havoc in the Heartland brought a lot of talent to Legacy Courts in Lafayette. Our scouting staff was there to see it all on Saturday and Sunday which means we have a lot to get to in terms of content over the course of this week. Here are some of the standouts from the annual Havoc in the Heartland event.

Cook put up some big time numbers as a sophomore at Northwestern High School proving himself as one to watch in Indiana's Class of 2028. However, until this weekend, he was a guy that we had not seen much at all live. He immediately made a strong impression when we got the chance to watch I Am Third - Red 16u. The 6'4" forward is an excellent scorer from the mid-post area. He loves to face-up and drive it from those spots on the floor and is a very athletic, crafty finisher.

One of the top unsigned seniors in the state of Indiana, Hillsman looks ready to make a name for himself in the upcoming live period. The 6'6" wing showcased some impressive ball skill when playing off of ballscreens and certainly possesses the requisite size to play on the perimeter at any level. He shot it well from three-point range and had a couple of impressive dunks at the end of his drives for Progeny UAA. Coaches across all scholarship levels should check him out at UAA Session II in Hamilton, Ohio this weekend.

One of the top freshmen guards in Indiana, Kennedy had another standout weekend for Progeny UAA 15u at the Havoc in the Heartland. His scoring chops as a primary ball handler have continued to impress us this spring. He can get to any spot on the floor, score in a variety of ways, and has a real burst of athleticism when finishing around the basket which is required for a 5'11" guard. The Cathedral High School product is definitely one to watch in the current freshman class.

One of several talented pieces, especially in the backcourt, for [program_tooltip program_id='2471005' first='Legacy' last='Ice Elite'], Perry was a big part of their undefeated weekend at the Havoc in the Heartland. Perry is an athletic guard with good positional size and strength in the backcourt. He had a ton of success off of the dribble utilizing those physical tools to finish at the rim consistently. Some of Perry's best play came in the second half while helping secure a victory for [program_tooltip program_id='2471005' first='Legacy' last='Ice Elite'] 17u over Progeny UAA 17u.

The skill level of this 6'7" left-handed forward should continue to attract the attention of college coaches into the summer months. Ridgway showed off a little bit of everything that he can do offensively in a win for [program_tooltip program_id='2076224' first='DistinXion' last=''] 17u on Saturday. He finished with 22 points in the contest we watched while knocking down a couple of three-point shots, driving it left from the perimeter, and using his size/strength to finish through smaller defenders around the basket.

Runyan had an excellent weekend shooting the basketball which is exactly what he is known for coming out of Gibson Southern High School. The 6'2" guard made half of his three-point shots (nearly five attempts per game) and averaged 12 points per game while helping lead [program_tooltip program_id='2470506' first='Progeny' last='UA Rise'] 17u to a perfect 5-0 weekend. He is an under-the-radar prospect that small college programs should be watching heading into the summer.
