Now that the weekend is in the rearview mirror it is time to start highlighting some of the top individual performers that we had the chance to evaluate. The Prep Hoops Havoc in the Heartland brought a lot of talent to Legacy Courts in Lafayette. Our scouting staff was there to see it all on Saturday and Sunday which means we have a lot to get to in terms of content over the course of this week. Here are some of the standouts from the annual Havoc in the Heartland event.

Bennett is the straw that stirs the drink for [program_tooltip program_id='2847679' first='Refined' last='Indiana'] NXT Pro 16u. That is a good quality to have considering how successful they continue to be both at our Prep Hoops events and now on the NXT Pro Circuit. The 6'1" point guard from University High School is such a pure playmaker. He can make any pass on the floor, processes the game at a high level, and can also really shoot it from three-point range.

One of the top prospects participating at the Havoc in the Heartland, Bolden displayed his Division I upside for Progeny UAA. He was a consistent finisher around the basket, showcased his ability to face-up from the mid post and be a scoring threat from there, and also dominated the glass at both ends per usual. The 6'7" forward recently received an offer from Toledo and should have plenty of eyes on him in the upcoming live period.

Arguably one of the MVP's of the Havoc in the Heartland, Devine was consistently outstanding for [program_tooltip program_id='2471005' first='Legacy' last='Ice Elite'] 17u as they went undefeated on the weekend. Devine's biggest game came against the toughest opponent. He poured in five three-point shots in the first half alone as [program_tooltip program_id='2471005' first='Legacy' last='Ice Elite'] defeated Progeny UAA 78-77 on Sunday. The 6'2" guard from Bremen High School finished with 27 points in that contest.

Fey was a big part of [program_tooltip program_id='3587267' first='Indiana' last='Impact'] - Smith 16u's two wins on Saturday. The 6'3" guard uses his size well to finish around the basket and take advantage of mismatches off of the dribble. However, he can also stretch the floor out beyond the arc due to his skill level. The Jimtown High School guard scored 22 points in one of the games we watched of his this weekend. One of three very talented pieces from Jimtown in that current sophomore class.

Ford averaged 14.5 points per game while helping lead Progeny UA Grind 17u to a perfect 5-0 weekend at the Havoc in the Heartland. His best performance came in an impressive 77-72 win over Progeny UAA. In that contest the 6'2" guard finished with 20 points and 4 assists while shooting 4-8 from three-point range. If he can shoot the ball like that his recruitment will have a chance to really take off going into the summer.

We've high on this North Central High School prospect for a while now, but we are buying more stock following the Havoc in the Heartland. Smith is a legitimate 6'4"-6'5" guard that can handle it, pass it, and defend multiple positions. His length and athleticism off of the dribble makes him very tough to handle at the end of his drives. Smith was a star for Progeny UAA 16u who was one of the most dominant teams in attendance this weekend.
