Prep Hoops Indiana made the trip out to Kansas City for Nike EYBL Session III. With it not being a live period it made for a much quieter, easier to navigate gymnasium which is a perfect setting for getting evaluations done. Obviously, we have seen all of these players in the past as well, but it was good to get to see them play at such a high level. Let's empty out the notebook and share some thoughts on some of the top prospects that we got the chance to watch at Nike EYBL Session III in Kansas City.

Clark had been playing with All Ohio Red 16u, but suited up with Meansteets 16u this weekend in Kansas. The talented 6'3" guard from Hamilton Southeastern High School played very well. He finished the event averaging 12.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per game. It will be interesting to see if some college programs start to get more involved heading into the June and July live evaluation periods. Clark is definitely a Division I level prospect in Indiana's Class of 2028.

We've said it for several months now, Gates has some of the best shot-blocking instincts in the country. The 6'7" center from Gary West Side High School has made a strong case for himself as the top prospect in Indiana's Class of 2029. His defensive prowess was on display once again in Kansas City as he blocked 19 shots in four games including 9 in Monday's contest. He also averaged 10.0 points and 5.3 rebounds per game.

Since we first saw Gold Jr. play last summer while leading [program_tooltip program_id='2076927' first='Indy' last='Heat'] 14u to the Peach Jam finals, and then again at the Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase, we have labeled him as arguably the best pure ball handler in Indiana's Class of 2029. He is so good with the ball in his hands and does a great job of creating his own shot off of the bounce. We saw him have a couple of big scoring outputs in Kansas City for [program_tooltip program_id='2076927' first='Indy' last='Heat'] 15u.

Hill announced his commitment to Purdue right before the live period began last weekend. The 6'10" center, known as one of the top shot blockers in the country, continues to patrol the paint for [program_tooltip program_id='2076927' first='Indy' last='Heat'] 17u. He is averaging 2.3 blocks per game in EYBL play this spring while continuing to improve as a rebounder and show off his offensive upside. It is easy to see why the Pike High School product is ranked as a four-star, Top 25 prospect nationally.

We will continue to say that Lampley has five-star upside in the Class of 2028. He is so physically dominant as a 6'6" "point-forward" type of player. Lampley is an excellent ball handler and passer, but also shot 37.5% from three-point range on the weekend while averaging 19.0 points and 6.3 rebounds per game. He continues to have an excellent spring with Meanstreets 16u.

We've been beating the drum for this Pike High School guard for awhile now. Prep Hoops Indiana was among the first to call him one of the top shot-makers, and overall playmakers, nationally in the Class of 2027. Now, he is a four-star, Top 75 prospect as others have started to catch on to his talent. Miller had all of that on display once again this weekend for [program_tooltip program_id='2076927' first='Indy' last='Heat'] 17u averaging 14.0 points and 3.8 assists per game while shooting 10-23 (43.5%) from three-point range across four games.

In EYCL action, Price had a monster weekend for UNRNKD Hoops 17u. The 6'7" center was a dominant force around the basket and proved why we think he is a no-brainer scholarship big man coming out of Penn High School. He displayed good footwork and his strength as finisher while flirting with a double-double each time out. His best performance came on Sunday when he finished with 23 points and 15 rebounds in a win for UNRNKD.
