NHR State Tournament: Jack’s 2029 Top Performers

The long 6'7” wing connected on a pair of triples, showing off his smooth shooting stroke and confidence from the perimeter. He played great interior defense, blocking some shots and making a difference on the boards. His athleticism looked on another level this weekend, blocking tons of shots and throwing down some crazy dunks, including the best poster of the spring I have seen. He plays with great physicality and was unstoppable when attacking the basket. He's coming off of a deep state playoff run with Apple Valley and you can tell his feel and experience is above the age group he is playing. He was scoring from all three levels, being automatic on step back jumpers from three. He was relentless attacking the rim, making one move to get downhill. He was great at absorbing contact and drawing fouls, as the defenders had no choice but to foul the freshman guard. He is a threat to shoot it from deep, connecting on triples, also pushing the pace and getting everyone involved with his facilitating. He has a strong 6'6” frame and is very athletic, being able to dominate the game inside. He was at his best when working to the rim, bulldozing through several defenders on his way to a finish. His length and athleticism make him a very versatile defender, as he has a high motor and plays very hard. He was great when pushing the pace in transition, as he had several full speed finishes at the rim running the floor. He has good size for the guard position, also having a tight handle and difference making speed. He was blowing by defenders whenever he wanted, converting on tough finishes around the rim.
