April: Pre-Season High School Top 25

The two Region 2 teams on this list could be sleeper teams across the state and in their respective classifications. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>#11 Timpview</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2194688' first='Jackson' last='Ford'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2675080' first='Max' last='Cleveland'] are just the tip of the iceberg over at Timpview. A program that seems to find ways to reload year after year. Ford is ready to take the reins and keep this team rolling. [player_tooltip player_id='3043000' first='Charlie' last='Cummard'] is a name to know out there as well. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>#12 Westlake</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Westlake is going to be tough again, and although many thought they did not have a chance early last year, they proved everyone wrong. Look for [player_tooltip player_id='1724364' first='Malik' last='Sika'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2022331' first='Slone' last='Su'a'] to do a lot of the same this coming year as well. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>#13 Bingham</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Bingham brings back a few players who got a good amount of experience this past year in [player_tooltip player_id='2675050' first='Brady' last='Peterson'], [player_tooltip player_id='2917921' first='Carson' last='Edmunds'], and Derek Peterson. This trio is going to be a trio that is ready to take their game to the next level. [player_tooltip player_id='2477808' first='Owen' last='Bagley'] is the lone starter making it back. Look out for [player_tooltip player_id='2604926' first='Logan' last='Goncalves'], who is ready to play at an up-and-down pace. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>#14 Alta</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Last year, [player_tooltip player_id='2131820' first='Krew' last='Eckman'] made a significant impact as he stepped in for several teammates who were injured. This coming season, he is expected to be a formidable force. Alta has the opportunity to make another run this season. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>#15 East</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>East will rely heavily on [player_tooltip player_id='2450656' first='Oscar' last='Keegan'] this coming season, and as they should. He has length and one of the better all-around developing games in the state. He can shoot from beyond the arc and is doing a great job when he puts the ball on the floor. He is getting quicker and stronger.
