2030 Prospects with Elite Work Ethic

Most 2030 prospects will make their high school debuts over the next few weeks. Here are a few prospects whose motor could secure them a varsity spot before it's all said and done.    Reece is a lengthy stretch 4 who can impact both sides of the ball at a high level. His catch-and-shoot abilities from beyond the arc adds to a diverse array of scoring opportunities for his Hustle Elite squad. His height allows him to see over the defense and make smart decisions in the paint, oftentimes finding open teammates. He's just as effective in the box on the other end of the court, unafraid to do what's needed to defend the rim. A high motor kid with an even higher upside.     Originally, I sought out a game nearby that of Tresean's and his TB3 Elite squad. His dominance, however, drew my attention, as well as everyone else in the vicinity. Using his length to jump passing lanes led to nonstop steals and thus, several fastbreak opportunities. One of which he threw down a one-handed slam dunk that caused the gym to erupt. On another occasion he opted to pull up for a midrange jumper, showcasing his all-around scoring abilities. Size, speed, skill, athleticism, energy... Tresean's got it.     Paxton plays with so much heart that its contagious for anyone watching, let alone for his Demi Rayn team. He battles on the boards relentlessly, oftentimes singlehandedly willing his squad to second chance opportunities. Beyond his energy, Paxton is a legit offensive threat who's liable to finish matches in double figures. He has solid shooting mechanics and can be a reliable ball handler when needed. A Swiss army knife who does whatever is needed for a win.     Coming off of a KBC 8th grade State Championship with CAL, Brody is a proven winner, and his style of play might explain why. His effort is endless as is his ability to make winning plays. Crashing the boards, diving after loose balls, chasing down opponents in transition... Brody does is all. He pairs his relentless energy with nice positional size and an advanced IQ. Not to mention crafty finishing abilities and reliable outside shooting. Out of all of KY's 2030 class, Brody is one of my favorite sleeper prospects.     Physically, Rylan is one of the most mature 2030 guards I've seen this spring. His bigger frame allows him to outwork his matchups on both sides of the ball. He runs the floor from start to finish and takes advantage of anyone who isn't working as hard as him. He's also a capable isolation scorer, using a quick first step to beat defenders and get to the rim or stop and pop. A high energy guard who can fill up a stat sheet quickly.     Alex has a scary high ceiling due to his athleticism and motor. He's in constant motion when he's on the floor and is a scoring threat from wherever his feet stand. He's most effective on the wing where he uses his long strides to get to the rim in a hurry. Once there, he's capable of finishing in a variety of ways regardless of any contact he might have to absorb. Alex is also able to get hot from deep, using a high arching jumper and quick release to get his shot off.
