Paxton was Mr. Fundamental at the Kentucky Freshman Showcase in terms of his understanding of the game. His positioning and effort on defense stood out in. Keeping his head on a swivel, jumping to the ball, reading the passing lanes… whatever his team needed him to do to secure the ball, he did it. On the other end of the court, Paxton was one of the best finishers around the rim in the building. Simple, winning basketball is his game.

Paxton plays with so much heart that its contagious for anyone watching, let alone for his Demi Rayn team. He battles on the boards relentlessly, oftentimes singlehandedly willing his squad to second chance opportunities. Beyond his energy, Paxton is a legit offensive threat who’s liable to finish matches in double figures. He has solid shooting mechanics and can be a reliable ball handler when needed. A Swiss army knife who does whatever is needed for a win.
