We at Prep Hoops VA recently updated our 2027 rankings, expanding over 150 prospects who we feel are ones to watch in the junior class. Here's a look at part three of the wing prospects from the Northern VA area in the rankings.

#39) [player_tooltip player_id='2893757' first='Anthony' last='Garris'] | 6'7” SF | Potomac School

Garris transferred to Potomac School this past season and immediately made a statement for them, putting up impressive numbers and also emerging as a division one prospect that coaches are going to be all over this summer. The 6'7” wing has all the physical tools with a long frame and is fluid athlete, he thrives in transition as a finisher and is great chasing down and pinning shots defensively, he is a versatile mismatch who can can play and guard multiple positions, and he has huge upside as he's just scratching the surface with how good he can be.

#43) [player_tooltip player_id='1963395' first='Cameron' last='Prosper'] | 6'7” SF | Bethel Academy

Prosper transferred to Bethel after stinging at Hayfield so he could reclassify to the 2027 class, and it's proven to be a great decision as he's continued to improve and is a player coaches should watch this summer. At 6'7” he has a great size and is a good athlete who thrives in transition with his ability to finish above the rim and through contact, he is a walking mismatch who can score inside on smaller defenders and stretch the defense with his shooting, he is a switchable defender who can guard multiple positions, and he's a good rebounder and rim protector as well.

#60) [player_tooltip player_id='3295789' first='Dylan' last='Harsanyi'] | 6'3” SG | Paul VI

While Harsanyi can get overlooked at times playing on one of the top teams in the country, he's shown time and time again he can play with the best of them, and if he was on literally any other team in the state he'd be a starter and a go-to guy for them. The 6'3” guard makes a big impact in whatever role he is needed as he is an absolute driller from deep with effortless range and the ability to space the floor, he's a good athlete with great hang time and the ability to finish over bigger defenders, he has a high IQ and makes great reads with the ball in his hands, and he provides great energy for his team as well.

#68) [player_tooltip player_id='2780037' first='Tal' last='Rose'] | 6'7” SF | VA Academy

Rose transferred to VA Academy and reclassified to the 2027 class after being a standout for Loudoun Valley, and he's another intriguing and versatile big wing that would be great in the right system moving forward. At 6'7” he's a deadly shooter from deep and in the midrange who doesn't need a lot of space to get his shot off, he has soft touch around the rim and can post and score over both shoulders, he can put it on the deck in transition and attacking closeouts, and he is a good passer for his size as well.

#80) [player_tooltip player_id='3275779' first='Jordan' last='Garland'] | 6'4” SG | Heritage-Leesburg

Garland had a breakout year for a very good Heritage team that made a run to the state tournament and will have most of the team coming back next year, and he's going to intrigue a lot of coaches with his long term upside. He has a strong frame and is a big time athlete who can get downhill and finish through traffic, he plays above the rim in transition, he can knock down open shots from the perimeter, and he has all the tools to be a lock down defender too.

#85) [player_tooltip player_id='2353645' first='Tyler' last='Kim'] | 6'5” SG | Langley

Kim has quietly been one of the better wings in the NOVA area over the past three seasons, and he's going to catch the eye of a lot of coaches running with a very good NOVA Cavs group this summer. At 6'5” he has prototypical size at the next level on the perimeter, he works really well off the ball to get open and makes great reads coming off of screens, he is a knock down shooter from deep with consistency and range, and he has a high IQ and plays the game the right way as well.

#100) Aidan O'Conner | 6'4” SG | Loudoun Valley

O'Conner has been fantastic for Loudoun Valley over the past few years as an All Region selection multiple times and consistently putting up big numbers across the board. The 6'4” guard can play on or off the ball and is able to score it from all over the floor, he plays with good pace to keep defenders off balance, he's a dead eye shooter from deep with range, and he can get hot and fill it up in bunches while still making plays for others as well.
