Here are the seven prospects that impressed on Friday night of the Prep Hoops Twin Cities Takedown in Minnesota!

Max put on one of the best scoring performances I have seen this spring in an opening night win over Hoop Habits. The 6'1” guard started the game off hot from the perimeter and never cooled down. He was knocking down looks from deep off the catch and off the dribble, making the defense pay every time for giving him any space. He ran the point for his team and was great at creating open scoring looks for his teammates. Beeninga also gave high effort on the defensive end and is one of the most well-rounded guard prospects in Minnesota's junior class.

Luke proved exactly why he is ranked as one of the top uncommitted prospects in Minnesota's junior class. The 6'3” guard is arguably the best shooter in the state and was automatic on catch-and-shoot threes. He can get shots off so quickly and needs a hand in his face at all times. He also used that to his advantage a lot, giving a shot fake and driving to the basket, where he showed off some touch around the rim.

Xavy is one of my favorite guards to watch in this class and he showed out again on Friday night. He is so quick and is at his best when creating shots for himself and his team, as he likes to get downhill and to pull-up jump shots in the mid-range. He has no trouble finishing over larger defenders inside, being able to hang in the air and absorb contact, also getting to the line often. Ivey is great at pushing the pace in transition as well, using his speed and vision.

Matthew has been one of the biggest spring stock risers in Minnesota and he lived up to the hype on Friday night. The 6'5” guard is an elite athlete and was playing above the rim all night, picking up some high flying blocks and almost posterizing a defender. His offensive game is well-rounded, being able to shoot from deep and drive inside at a high rate. Johnson is a very versatile prospect and there is a lot to like with how his game will transfer to the next level.

I was not very familiar with Adnan's game headed into the weekend, but I left Friday night's win very impressed. The 6'1” guard is very long, being able to use his length to disrupt opposing ball handlers, getting his hands in passing lanes. He is quick and looked good when playing at full speed in transition, attacking the basket hard and setting up his teammates with some easy scores. Mohamed is also a great shooter from deep, knocking down a couple threes.

Ramadan is coming off of a productive high school season and turned in a great performance on Friday night with Cedar Warriors. The junior guard provides a lot of value to his team, being able to take on a main ball handler and scorer role. He is an excellent passer and was creating for his teammates on drives to the basket, as well as when running the floor in transition. Ibrahim is very tough and was giving it his all whenever he was on the floor.

Kristian has to be one of the strongest players in Minnesota's 2027 class, as opponents found it very difficult to match up with his physicality. He plays much larger than 6'4” with his built frame, doing his scoring damage from inside. He was effective with his back to the basket and on strong drives in the half court. Ward can match up with a variety of different players on the defensive end as well with his strength and athleticism.
