This past weekend Adidas 3SSB made their west coast swing out in Ladera Ranch, California and there were plenty of notable performers from the State of North Carolina looking to lead their teams vs premier competition from all around the country. Without further delay, let's take a look at the top performers from the 16u division.

Morman had a really strong weekend with Team Loaded VA 3SSB 16u propelling them to a 4-0 weekend averaging 13.5 Points, 3.3 Rebounds, 3.8 Assists, and 2.8 Steals on 53/33/71 shooting splits for session one. Morman possesses the ability to manipulate the defense with his live dribble and ability to score the basketball from all over the floor. Morman is a confident finisher with both hands in traffic, allowing him to overcome his lack of height in the paint. This group is loaded with talent and I fully expect Morman to find a way to elevate his production within the flow of the offense as he gets more and more comfortable with this group.

Hall will rise in our next 2028 update and he backed that up with his performance for Game Elite 3SSB 16u guiding his team to a 3-1 record as he averaged 10.8 Points, 8.3 Rebounds, 1.5 Assists, 0.5 Steals, and 4.0 Blocks per game while shooting 69% from the floor in the process. Hall is a physically dominant big man who knows exactly who he is out there on the floor. He imposes himself on the block offensively, wearing down his opposition over the course of the game. He's super engaged on the glass at both ends of the floor and utilizes his frame to box opponents out. Hall did struggle from the free throw line (47%) and if he can improve on that over time he'll become essentially unguardable from inside of 10 feet. Hall is a national level prospect and is starting to get the recognition for it.

Cooper is a gifted wing prospect with real perimeter skill that made some news by announcing his intention to transfer to Leesville Road High School next season. This past weekend he helped lead this [program_tooltip program_id='2078500' first='Garner' last='Road'] 3SSB 16u team to a 3-1 record this past weekend. He averaged 12.8 Points, 2.8 Rebounds, 2.3 Assists, and 1.0 Steals per game with 56/43/67 shooting splits. Cooper is a reliable catch and shoot option from distance with the ability to attack a closeout and play above the rim. He finds a way to be an impactful offensive player without having to possess the ball at a high volume but is more than capable of making plays for others when needed. Cooper's best basketball is still ahead of him but it's great to see him produce on a winning team like this and is a guy to monitor closely in NC's 2028 class.

Womack is showing how lethal he can be as the bonafide go-to option with [program_tooltip program_id='2227286' first='Team' last='Loaded South'] 16u 3SSB. He helped lead the group to a 2-2 finish on the weekend while averaging 18.8 Points, 1.3 Rebounds, 0.8 Assists, and 0.8 Steals per game on 38/32/86 shooting splits. Womack should be able to find a way to improve upon his efficiency and impact beyond scoring but understands the task at hand as the primary self creator for this group. Womack can flat out take a game over scoring the basketball and as he finds a way to improve the efficiency, he'll continue to shine for this group.

St. Louis is a big time PG prospect that will find himself near the top of the 2028 rankings here in NC soon and his play helped pace [program_tooltip program_id='2078500' first='Garner' last='Road'] 3SSB 16u to a 3-1 weekend in SoCal. St. Louis averaged 13.0 Points, 4.0 Rebounds, 3.8 Assists, and 1.5 Steals per game with 41/33/86 shooting splits to boot. St. Louis ability to run an offense while finding his own offense in the process is super high level. He's got great touch on his floater with the ability to make the right read far more often than not as he had a 2.5 A:TO ratio on the weekend. St. Louis is a dynamic playmaking guard to monitor for this [program_tooltip program_id='2078500' first='Garner' last='Road'] group that looks to be a force on the 3SSB Circuit this season.

McCormick was incredibly productive and will rise in the 2028 rankings in the process for Game Elite 16u 3SSB this past weekend, guiding them to a 3-1 record in the process. McCormick averaged 16.8 Points, 2.0 Rebounds, and 2.5 Assists per game on 50/52/82 shooting splits. The remarkably high levels of efficiency were super impressive for McCormick to achieve throughout the weekend vs this level of competition. He can play on or off the ball and is a great perimeter shooter. McCormick can help run the team, push the pace in transition, and be that safety valve to make something happen when the offense is sputtering. A super strong performance with McCormick who looks to be settling into his new team like a glove through the first session.

Jamison is another stock riser in NC's 2028 class that is developing himself into one of the more rounded guards in the State of North Carolina. For [program_tooltip program_id='2227286' first='Team' last='Loaded South'] 16u 3SSB, Jamison averaged 9.8 Points, 5.5 Rebounds, 4.3 Assists, and 1.3 Steals per game on 64/75/73 shooting splits for remarkable efficiency even with the small sample size. Jamison can play either guard spot comfortably and embraced the opportunity to contribute on the glass and really helped his team in the process. He's identifying himself is a key piece on this team and should start to get more and more opportunities within this offense given how well he shot the ball from all levels. Look for Jamison to really become a prospect to monitor in NC's 2028 class.

Hatch did a really good job for this Team Loaded VA 16u 3SSB this past weekend as they went 4-0 and he held it down for this group on the glass while being an efficient contributor from the offensive end. Hatch averaged 7.3 Points, 6.8 Rebounds, 0.5 Steals, and 1.3 Blocks per game with 58/29/71 shooting splits. Hatch is proving to be a reliable two way interior presence while the capability of knocking down shots from beyond the arc. It will be fun to watch his development over time as a high upside big showing flashes of the kind of versatility that leads to late blooming risers in the recruiting landscape. Hatch is looking to help lead this Team Loaded VA group to a championship in Adidas 3SSB as one of their feature bigs.
